You all know my friend Bruce Leonard as the author of the Quilt City Hadley Carroll mysteries. The ones with the cozy (if murders can be considered cozy!) mysteries happening around Paducah, Kentucky and all involve quilting as a theme.

thinking about alternate blocks to go with spinning rails in a "spicy" color theme. then will be pressing and cutting strips as I start packing for a really fun retreat in for me- the far away state of Virginia!
My experience is that the colonoscopy prep is the worst part. The actual procedure has you sedated and you're not aware of the process. Hope the outcome is good!
So some how I missed my mammogram last November (grandbaby being born... I know what's more important!) so clinic contacted me to hurry and get it done... so I called to make an appointment (in May mind you) and the first appointment available.... the middle of October! lol... good thing there are any problems. Have a great day everyone!
Congratulations to the lucky ladies! I hope it's good... he's a pretty good writer. Bonnie, I just want to thank you for reminding us to take care of ourselves health wise. I know some things can be unpleasant... but they have to get done so we can keep on making these beautiful quilts!! Loving the binding on the Diamond Tile. It's a great choice. But then again I just love that whole project! No sewing for me... today was the 4 words I'm sure most educators shudder at.... 1st day of school!! Once again I am wondering what I got myself into!! HAHA!! Hoping once school gets under way things iron out a bit. I hope you got a nice healthy breakfast after you got finished with your procedure... & that you get good results! Happy quilting!
