Tea Party Quilt Done!

I finished the tea party quilt today! I worked at home finishing the quilting and applying the machine part of the binding and hanging sleeve, and then I took it to the massage clinic with me to hand stitch the binding down while I answered phones and worked the front desk.

I got the whole thing done! I feel so good to have it this far and am anxious to send it back to Elizabeth so she can see how it turned out....

Other than that, it was a pretty basic, non-eventful day and was MOST WELCOME!

  2. Bonnie, it certainly did turn out charming!-I am sure it will be a huge hit with Elizabeth. Nice to hear your life getting back to normal-and great going on cutting all those scraps! I have been avoiding that chore at my house...but soon I will have to just do it :-) Glad you had such a great time with Jason and Shanon-but sure made for an extremely busy time per your post. One month to visiting Lucy...how exciting is that!

  5. Bonnie, as always your quilting is simply marvelous. What a true artist you are with your electric needle! Every quilt turns into a masterpiece because of your quilting. I especially love this one - I'm very partial to tea cups and tea!

  7. Bonnie -
The tea party quilt is adorable! And as usual, your quilting only enhances the top!

Good luck with #2 son! I am planning on locking both my kids in a closet when they reach the age of 12 and not letting them out till they are about 20! So I still have a few more years to enjoy them before they go into forced hiding!

  12. Hi Bonnie
I have been visiting your blog for awhile now and I just have to comment on how absolutely wonderful your machine quilting is! The quilting patterns that you put on the quilts are just beautiful - I love the swirls in the basket blocks - a bit of a modern design with an old block pattern. It is stunning. I'm sure Elizabeth will treasure it forever. Thanks you so much for sharing them!
