December Quilty Box Gift-Away!

IMG_20171217_085813_694000
Oh my goodness, does this month’s Quilty Box have something wonderful for you!

I opened the box just before heading to the cabin, snapping photos quickly with the intent of writing this post while in Virginia.

It never dawned on me as I told myself that this would be great for SUNDAY – that I should have done it yesterday, Saturday – because Saturday is known to cat lovers globally as CATURDAY!

Okay, I’m a bit old, worn out and slow!

But then, every day in my house is Caturday, ask Emmy Lou!

I am also tickled that Quilty Box is also offering the Quilty Box Mini (more details to follow) so I can choose not just one winner, but TWO each month.  Thank you, Quilty Box!
Here are some highlights to keep in mind:
  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box of fun quilting supplies. We offer plans from $44-48/mo.
  • 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $60
  • December's Quilty Box Featured Artist will be Felice Regina and January's featured artist will be Jackie Kunkel   from cvquiltworks.com
  • The next Quilty Box will ship around January 11th. Subscribers will need to purchase before January 10th to receive this shipment.
  • We will be using the hashtags #QuiltyBox and #GetQuilty
Your support is appreciated. If you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to contact me.

I LOVE the fact that 5% of the profits go to Quilts for Kids!  It’s a win win all the way around!

Let’s look closer at this box:

Oh my goodness!  This box even SMELLS wonderful!

I love the sherbet colors of the Caturday fabric bundle!

This bundle contains 10 yummy fat quarters.

Caturday, Felice Regina's second collection for Windham Fabrics, is inspired by all those moments where you think, "I love my cats, but they're huge jerks." From scratch marks on your new couch, to kitty litter, and our feline friends favorite assets, Caturday puts a hilarious spin on cat fabric in a cozy color palette. Sewists will adore the variety of adaptable blenders, silly focal prints, and lacey border prints that are destined for quilts, bags, and garments.

Along with this wonderful array of fabrics, you’ll find:

Aurifil monofilament thread for machine quilting, A Clover pen style Chaco Liner for drawing accurate straight lines and freehand curves.  The fine point makes lines and marks more visible and is easy to use with a straight edge ruler.  The refills are easy to replace.   (I love these, I use them to mark stencil lines for hand quilting!)

A fun enamel cat pin designed by Felice and exclusive to Quilty Box subscribers, these fun feline pins were designed to coordinate with the Caturday fabric line.

Soak Singles – Soak is an eco-friendly wash that cleans beautiful and is ideal for washing hand or machine quilted items and fabrics.

And the YUMMY smell?  A sample pack of Plum Deluxe tea is included so you can fix yourself a cuppa as you pet your way through your Quilty-Box.  I am a tea lover, and Plum Deluxe is WONDERFUL!

About Felice -

Twenty-something illustrator and designer Felice Regina says that she crafts aggressively and that her relentless curiosity fuels her passion for creativity.  Her making takes many forms, but sewing and illustration are her favorites, so it was a natural choice for her to combine these loves by stepping into fabric design.

Her first collection with Windham Fabrics, Luna Sol, was released last year.  Caturday is her newest collection.

The Bundles of Inspiration magazine that comes with each Quilty Box also includes a full article with more information about that month’s designer with all of the behind-the-scenes info you want to know, AND a full size, full color pattern for making a quilt from the fabrics in that month’s bundle.

Quilty Box Mini!

Quilty Box Mini doesn’t cut corners. With everything you need to advance as a quilter and nothing you don’t, the Quilty Box Mini is perfect for the quilter who enjoys the process of quilting: cutting, piecing and “solving the puzzle” that we’ve heard so many of you describe as “The joy and inspiration” behind why you quilt.

This month’s Mini includes a charm pack of Felice Regina’s Caturday fabric, an exclusive pattern to use with the charm pack, a sample size of soak wash, AND the lovely Plum Deluxe tea. You also get the same Bundles of Inspiration magazine so you can read up on all things Quilty.

Who wants to throw their name in the pot for a chance at the full-size Quilty Box, or the Quilty Box mini?
Our winners will be drawn the evening of Dec 23rd!

Good luck!

  5. Thanks for this wonderful chance to win. I love, love, love kitties, but alas, my hubby is allergic to them, so I have fabric with cats, pictures of cats, etc. to make up for my loss of feline company. I miss the purring and vocalizing, but make do with what I get to have.

  10. My furries have been telling me that they wanted quilts for Christmas. With three of them, I suppose we would have a "discussion" about whom this would belong to, or maybe there is enough fabric for three. Not that I don't already have plenty of "supplies".
