Flying Home Day.

Check out the gorgeous colors of this wonderful Good Fortune quilt!

Our show and share was terrific during our workshops in Atascadero, California this week – ALL of this amazing workmanship – brought to class to share with everyone in attendance – the most fun reveal of the day!

purple and gold and rusty red and green on brown – how YUMMY!

The left overs ended up on the back -

And the story of how the color theme came to be was finally revealed:

All colors were pulled from this piece of fabric sewn into the backing!

Much applause and oohs and aahs – And now everyone will look twice when discovering a multicolored floral print in their stash just to see what treasures it holds as far as color inspiration goes!

I’m actually writing this post a bit ahead – 9pm last night California time as my alarm is going off at 4am in the morning – my ride Cheryl (bless her heart!) is picking me up by 5:15am to get me to the airport – and then she will head back over to the show in San Luis Obispo as I wing my way from San Luis to LAX to Dulles and finally to Greensboro – there would be no way this would be posted today if I didn’t write it ahead.

Pam’s Wanderlust from the Addicted to Scraps book!

Shared on Monday.

She started this with me at Asilomar last year – GORGEOUS!

Tuesday brought us another great Good Fortune share -

I love the twist of the border units!!

Well done!

Wednesday’s Good Fortune share with additional borders -

Holy Moly!!

Thursday’s Little Leftover Leader & Ender share!

Split Nine-Patch from the Free Patterns tab!

She said she made another huge one while we were running that challenge, and it lives on her bed. This is just the leftovers – what a cutie!

Another Good Fortune share on Friday!

And there are so many more in the slide show below.
