Quiltmaker September/October Gift-Away!

IMG_20180807_085517_263000

Hello, everyone!

This post is being written ahead during our layover at JFK before departing for Dublin!

Quiltvillians are arriving one by one, two by two and pretty soon we will be boarding so I am tapping furiously to get this out here to you!

In fact, I’ve heard from some of the Quiltmaker subscribers that they have their issue in their hot little hands already and are digging in to make my quilt Right Way Round found in this issue!

Do you remember my quilt and the story behind it?

Here she is in the wild over the back porch rail at Quiltville Inn!

How apropos that the magazine photo also includes WICKER!

You know you want to make this one!

It looks like curves, but it is all straight seaming!

So many goodies in this month’s gift-away!

Not only will the winner receive the Quiltmaker issue that includes Right Way Round, but ALSO the Quilty Box kit and pattern to make the wall hanging and tote bag:

Blue Dragonfly Tapestry includes everything needed to finish the top of this beautiful taupe wall hanging Which finishes approximately 33’’ x 34’’.
It’s all here – floss, fabric and the pattern!

Gorgeous Lecien fabrics, ready for digging right in!
Should you wish you can ALSO make this bag!
This bundle includes fabric to make BOTH!

Isn’t this so fun?

There are several other great patterns in this issue of Quiltmaker – I don’t have time while at my gate to list them all, but you WILL want to dig into your scraps and head right over to my Addicted to Scraps column to whip up some of these cuties:

I’ve also included all the webbing, the embroidery floss and the thread needed to complete these projects.

And for good measure – I’m throwing in a Quiltville Ruler by Creative Grids

Scrappy Fun with Album Square Blocks!

These units are similar to what we made last Mystery Season with On Ringo Lake!  Such a fun block to play with different colors and values – sew yourself up a scrappy rainbow – It’s Scrap User’s System and Essential Triangle Tool friendly!

Okay.  Let’s get this party started!  Who is ready to throw their name in the hat?

Entries will close the evening of August 12th.  I will announce the winner at some point after that – wifi permitting!

Good luck, everyone!
