Have I ever got something special for you while Jason and I are headed off to the Oregon/Idaho border!
Quilty Box has pulled out all the stops. And due to popular demand, they are now offering a MINI BOX as well as the full sized Quilty Box we’ve all come to know, love and anticipate!
What is a Quilty Box?
Here are some highlights to keep in mind:
- Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box of fun quilting supplies. We offer plans from $44-48/mo.
- 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
- Each month we have 4 or more products (fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
- Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $60
- December's Quilty Box Featured Artist will be Felice Regina from iamlunasol.com
- The next Quilty Box will ship around December 11th. Subscribers will need to purchase before December 10th to receive this shipment.
- We will be using the hashtags #QuiltyBox and #GetQuilty

I LOVE the fact that 5% of the profits go to Quilts for Kids! It’s a win win all the way around!
Let’s look closer at this box:
Of course no one is going to notice that the glue pen package is backwards, right?
That’s kind of been my whole life the past few weeks! HA!
The first thing I noticed right off was this fun fabric bundle:
OH yes, this is SO much fun! Popsicles!
Double Dutch by Latifah Saafir!
About Double Dutch, Latifah states: “Double Dutch is my sophomore line of fabric with Hoffman Fabrics Me+You brand. It's a celebration of childhood summer days spent playing Double Dutch and chasing ice cream trucks.”
There are ice creams that went splat, there are rocket pops and ice cream sandwiches and swirly cups. There are jump-ropes and fun text prints and candy dots. I love this line! There are 8 wonderful fat-quarters in this bundle.
And all of these goodies, too!
(This time the pen is not backwards!)
With each Quilty Box you get a pattern designed especially to use the fabric included in the box. This month’s pattern is called Slap Bracelet and it goes perfectly with the fat-quarter bundle. Remember slap bracelets?
To help you complete the project there is a sewline glue pen, 2 spools of aurifil thread, and Latifah’s 6’’ Clammy template for easy circles, half circles, quarter circles and orange peel shapes.
Lookin’ good, girl!
I last spent time with Latifah when we were both at the Vermont Quilt Festival a couple of summers back. And it is fun to catch up with what has been going on in her quilty world as it is all included in the wonderful magazine you get with each Quilty Box as well.
This month I’m not giving away just ONE Quilty Box. I’m going to draw TWO lucky winners, and someone is going to get the Quilty Box Mini!
All the goods are in the Quilty Box magazine!
Quilty Box Mini doesn’t cut corners. With everything you need to advance as a quilter and nothing you don’t, the Quilty Box Mini is perfect for the quilter who enjoys the process of quilting: cutting, piecing and “solving the puzzle” that we’ve heard so many of you describe as “The joy and inspiration” behind why you quilt.
This month’s mini includes:
- Full-size Charm Pack from the same line of fabric featured in the full-size Quilty Box.
- Coordinating high quality thread from your favorite brands.
- Charm Pack Pattern custom designed to be easy and fun to complete.
- Bundles of Inspiration Magazine with full sized patterns, articles, how-to’s and information
- More fun and exciting extras to help you #GetQuilty.
Pricing and more information found on the Quilty Box website.
Who’s feeling lucky??

Quiltville Quote of the Day!
With Thanksgiving around the corner, and heading toward family today, I am focusing on gratitude. How about you?
Have a terrific Thursday, Everyone!
Good Morning Bonnie. First time I've been "in the know" so early. Hope you have an uneventful flight to Idaho. Praying for a great healing power as you remember your father in law in his earthly life. Always wishing you the best in whatever you expend your time doing. Thanks for the chance to win the quilty box and all the goodies. Prayers also going up for Sadie & her upcoming surgery, poor baby she has really had it here lately. My Sadie is sitting here beside me while I type. I too have a busy day, off to quilt class, an estate sale, lunch with granddaughter at school for grandparents day, meeting with my daughters to plan Thanksgiving. So grateful to have so much and so many in my life. Thank you for all that you do for your quilting community, you are so appreciated. Be at peace with your family.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the light in your heart with all of us. I appreciate all you do for us. My thoughts are with you and your family and also with Nancy Zieman's family. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It is all about family in my house. Blessings to you and yours ❤️❤️❤️❤️

ReplyDeleteBonnie, I am very thankful and grateful for the workshops and the mystery quilts that you do for us. I got to meet you at a workshop and have dinner with you in Columbus Ohio this year and it was so nice to see that the lady you are on the blog is the real Bonnie Hunter. I am praying for your family at this time of loss and also that Sadie is well after her upcoming surgery. You are a very giving person and I want to thank you for the things I have learned on your projects and the giveaways you do. Keep some time for you...so that you are able to deal with the curve balls that life sends your way. Be at peace this holiday season. You deserve it.
