Belated June 2021 Quilty Box Gift-Away!

Evidently a funny thing happened to my June '21 Quilty Box , and I was so busy I didn't even know it went missing!

When it finally dawned on me that it hadn't arrived - I contacted the folks at Quilty Box and our digging found out that my package had arrived at some post office in Nashville as "undeliverable/damaged"  OH NO!

But never fear - here at nearly the tail end of July comes the June box, and I am sure the July box is not far behind!

Let's face it - any day that a lovely box of fabrics shows up on my doorstep is a GOOD DAY.

And it's a good day for you, too as we are going to give this box away, delayed or not!

The June Quilty Box feature a fabulous designer known for her whimsical fabrics and quilts - Anna Maria Horner.

The Bundles of Inspiration magazine that comes with the June Quilty Box includes an article/interview about Anna Maria with recollections of her early growing up years all the way through where she is today.

Anna Maria's included design - Poppy Chain!

All of these fabrics are included for making your own Poppy Chain quilt!

Fabrics from Anna Maria's Bright Eyes fabric collection by Free Spirit.

Other goodies in the box include a Dritz LED needle threader (Thank you!) Custom Poppy Chain templates,  a beautiful label for your quilt, Aurifil thread and:

Quilt Soap!

(I need this too!  Thank you!)

And we are going to be giving this lovely box away to one lucky winner!

We will draw for our winner on Tuesday, July 27 2021!

And while you are entering here for the June Quilty Box - did you know we have ANOTHER Gift-Away in progress?

My latest PDF Pattern - Rockabilly Swing!

Fabrics from 1980s all the way to today -

Scraps in all colors, in every genre and variety.

You cheered me on as I made block after block after block in this adorable size - and watched as it was assembled, quilted, and bound.

And now you can start your OWN Rockabilly Swing journey with my PDF pattern which includes the printable paper foundation template.

The introductory price of Rockabilly Swing has been placed 25% off at $9.00 through July 31, 2021.  No coupon code needed.

Rockabilly Swing is paper foundation pieced.  I have used Carol Doak's 8 1/2'' X 11'' Foundation Paper with much success.  It is available in the Rulers, Notions & Tools section of the Quiltville Store. (Limited supply)

You can also find it in the Quilting All the Time category of the Quiltville Amazon Affiliate Store  Direct link HERE.

You can also use 8 1/2'' x 11'' newsprint, though it doesn't like some printers. (I get jams occasionally on mine)  It is also available HERE.

If this is your first time downloading digital patterns from my store to a computer click HERE.

If you intend to download to an iPhone/iPad click HERE.

And YES!  We are having a Gift-Away!  Did you enter on THAT POST?

Our winner will receive the PDF pattern for Rockabilly Swing AND a Jumble of Color roll from Cotton to Quilts!

If you are also in need of neutral stash enhancement, hit up Cotton to Quilts and see what Irene has curated just for you!

This morning Quiltville Inn is hustling and bustling with busy quilter activity as Chris's Christmas in July group arrived yesterday evening.

And there is a definite Christmas vibe in the house complete with a quilted Christmas tree decorated with ornaments and fun little prizes and themes all over.  Fun fun fun fun!

It's going to be a busy week with many things planned, including a multi-day workshop for my Winter Blues quilt - I can't wait to see what colors folks are using!

How is your Thursday shaping up so far?

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

Brian Andreas wrote: ⁣
"I once had a garden filled with flowers that grew only on dark thoughts. But they need constant attention. And one day I decided I had better things to do."
Stop giving the dark thoughts all of the energy and attention.

There are brighter thoughts that need tending to flourish!

Have a wonderful Thursday, friends!

  2. I really like your words of inspiration today and the quote by Brian Andreas. Thank you so much! It can be so easy to slip into the world of weeds and being unable to see the flowers that are growing despite the weeds. I needed to hear this today!

  3. What a perfect quote for today! I’ve been working at clearing out the weeds in my mental garden. I’m ready to see sunflowers, tulips and hummingbirds. I’m ready to have a flourishing orchard the fills my head, heart and life. I’m so thankful for your daily reminders! Thanks so much, Bonnie!

  8. Be amazing if the quilty box came to New Zealand, as the fabric was inspired by her stay here. I loved picking out a couple of botanical outlines of native species, in amongst the flowers.

    1. Dear friend, Tawa... I do not think Bonnie's Gift Aways include international shipping, I do believe if you have a stateside friend who would forward to you, that would work... I'm not positive, and just a heads up, just in case...Cats in Carlsbad, CA
