Evidently a funny thing happened to my June '21 Quilty Box , and I was so busy I didn't even know it went missing!
When it finally dawned on me that it hadn't arrived - I contacted the folks at Quilty Box and our digging found out that my package had arrived at some post office in Nashville as "undeliverable/damaged" OH NO!
But never fear - here at nearly the tail end of July comes the June box, and I am sure the July box is not far behind!
Let's face it - any day that a lovely box of fabrics shows up on my doorstep is a GOOD DAY.
And it's a good day for you, too as we are going to give this box away, delayed or not!
The Bundles of Inspiration magazine that comes with the June Quilty Box includes an article/interview about Anna Maria with recollections of her early growing up years all the way through where she is today.
Anna Maria's included design - Poppy Chain!
All of these fabrics are included for making your own Poppy Chain quilt!
Fabrics from Anna Maria's Bright Eyes fabric collection by Free Spirit.
Other goodies in the box include a Dritz LED needle threader (Thank you!) Custom Poppy Chain templates, a beautiful label for your quilt, Aurifil thread and:

(I need this too! Thank you!)
And we are going to be giving this lovely box away to one lucky winner!

This morning Quiltville Inn is hustling and bustling with busy quilter activity as Chris's Christmas in July group arrived yesterday evening.
And there is a definite Christmas vibe in the house complete with a quilted Christmas tree decorated with ornaments and fun little prizes and themes all over. Fun fun fun fun!
It's going to be a busy week with many things planned, including a multi-day workshop for my Winter Blues quilt - I can't wait to see what colors folks are using!
How is your Thursday shaping up so far?
Quiltville Quote of the Day -
Brian Andreas wrote:
"I once had a garden filled with flowers that grew only on dark thoughts. But they need constant attention. And one day I decided I had better things to do."
Stop giving the dark thoughts all of the energy and attention.
There are brighter thoughts that need tending to flourish!
Have a wonderful Thursday, friends!
LOVE those sweetpeas!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like your words of inspiration today and the quote by Brian Andreas. Thank you so much! It can be so easy to slip into the world of weeds and being unable to see the flowers that are growing despite the weeds. I needed to hear this today!
ReplyDeleteSusan
What a perfect quote for today! I’ve been working at clearing out the weeds in my mental garden. I’m ready to see sunflowers, tulips and hummingbirds. I’m ready to have a flourishing orchard the fills my head, heart and life. I’m so thankful for your daily reminders! Thanks so much, Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteHow DO you find all those quotes?!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful fabric, hope I win! And I'm definitely going to stop watering the weeds!!
ReplyDeleteBonnie, did you know today is Bobby Sherman’s birthday? He is 78!!! How can that be???
ReplyDeleteoh yes i need that box and its lovely goodies too!
ReplyDeleteBe amazing if the quilty box came to New Zealand, as the fabric was inspired by her stay here. I loved picking out a couple of botanical outlines of native species, in amongst the flowers.
ReplyDeleteDear friend, Tawa... I do not think Bonnie's Gift Aways include international shipping, I do believe if you have a stateside friend who would forward to you, that would work... I'm not positive, and just a heads up, just in case...Cats in Carlsbad, CA
