Happy Leap Day, everyone!
The beauties in this box are more than simply beautiful – it’s a great way to chase my winter blah’s away – we got another 4’’ of snow overnight!
These colors and fabrics have really inspired me this morning as I’ve prepared the photos for this post.
They are going to go right into one of my current projects – I just have to stitch some spring into my life – like RIGHT. NOW!!

Snow was swirling beyond the windows yesterday afternoon!
While some stayed inside all warm and cozy -
Three of us braved the weather and went for a long winter walk!
We got some long range views through the snowy fog -
And believe me when I say it was up hill – both ways!
Good smells were coming from the kitchen by the time I went home.
This happened overnight!
7am photo – daylight just arriving.
The bird feeder is extremely busy!
Well, this is fun! NOT!
While I type this the Hubster is plowing the drive with the blade on the RZR. He’ll be taking me to Quiltville Inn today as the roads are that bad.
Who knows – I just may have to stay the night and party with the girls! (Yes, there was line dancing in the front foyer yesterday afternoon as well – lead by Irene. What a hoot!)

I did a happy dance when I settled on 30 blocks. And then I remembered that there are 4 tulips per block and the number jumped to 120 and now it seems endless. HA!

ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying a sunny sew day, along with a nice walk without having to bundle up, and making a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Also shopping for mystery quilts and the password keeper (there's just too many to keep up with anymore). I know y'all will have a fabulous day, maybe even build a snowman. Have Fun!

ReplyDeleteSeveral of those fabrics in the give-away would have looked good in Frolic! No snow here - in fact, I mowed the yard today. Well, at least part of it - some areas were still too soggy, even after three days without rain.

Loving the way the colors play with each other, And how easily all the little sub units are coming together with how you told us to press the seams. I expect to see stars today.
