The side of me you never see---evil but necessary!
Not a stitch has been sewn. I've been cleaning house, washing and changing bedding--ooh I love a bed with clean fresh sheets!
If you thought the life of a traveling quilter was glamorous, think again! Rewarding yes---all the way down to my very clean finger nails thanks to a sink full of sudsy hot water and a mop bucket.
I've had a Monday date with none other than Mr. Clean himself. :-)

If Mr. Clean was at your place I must have been with his twin brother today....
ReplyDeleteGotta be done that dating Mr Clean, well from time to time at least!
ReplyDeleteI love clean sheets too, so every week I iron mine before putting them on my bed...Feels heavenly!
ReplyDeleteI love feel and smell of clean sheets, also. During cold weather we have flannel sheets that are so warm and cozy.
ReplyDeleteI was playing house cleaner all day on Saturday too. I hate it but it is sometimes necessary. :(
ReplyDeleteAnd a lovely bathroom it is; looking forward to taking your class at VCQ Celebrations in April; just like to follow your blog. Would you take time to look at my blog...www.quiltedsolutions.blogspot.com. and think about contributing a little quilt to the Virginia Quilt Museum fundraiser this year. You have so many followers, and so many wonderful quilters who "call you their own." Perhaps a little quilt from you could help us raise money for the museum. If you have more questions you can contact me at kackerso@shentel.net. If nothing else, I would love to see you list the Virginia Quilt Museum on your "history" contacts. It's an incredible resource for us here in Virginia. Thanks, Bonnie. Kathy
ReplyDeleteI too love clean sheets...but I'd rather go to a motel! lol Of course, you're always in them so that doesn't count. A clean house gives a good feeling when it's done. Too bad I don't do it too often!
ReplyDeleteYou have the same tile as our fabric store in SLO!! Weird...but the tile is not!
ReplyDeleteI do love when the spirit moves me to clean the house from head to toe.....it is usually when company is coming though :0)
ReplyDeleteHappy Sewing
Wow, is all I can say.....my motto is housecleaning by "check". I don't have time, don't want to make time, would rather spend my "free" time quilting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But your bathroom is beautiful........

My Housekeeping, give the room a 'sweeping' glance then get on with something else!
ReplyDeleteyou are such a hoot - who would ever think to find a clean bathroom picture on a quilt site??? Sue K.
ReplyDeleteUggggg....I hate cleaning - such a thankless job! But it does feel good to have it done.
ReplyDeleteIf I won the big Power Ball lottery I would hire a cleaning person to come in about twice a week....like clean, but hate cleaning. But how will I ever win if I never buy a ticket??!!
ReplyDeleteall these quips ar funny. I have to tell something I read many years ago "Boring women have clean houses" So cheers to all the exciting people. LOL
