Step 7....The Finale!

Step 7 is up!

I had so much fun planning this mystery for you. I have loved seeing all the variety in the fabric choices and seeing how much fun you have had with it!

I now have a closing date on our house in Winston Salem, NC. We will be closing Feb 4th, and moving should happen close after that date.

I plan to do another mystery quilt starting around April 1st!

Stay Tuned!

In Stitches --

(and pssst...guess what? It's SNOWING HEAVILY here in SC as I type this! Whooowhooo! Do you think I'd be lucky enough to be iced in from having to go to work tomorrow? one can always dream..and that's where I'm headed right now....g'night!)

  3. Bonnie:

I love it! I have to finish the triangle units in step 6, but now that I see the finished quilt, I am anxious to stay home and sew. Thank goodness there is a 3-day weekend coming up in two more days. I agree with Vickie, I cannot thank you enough for the fun I have had with this mystery. Keep up the good work.

  6. Wow - what a surprise - this has turned out quite differently from how I expected - the combination of all those little nine patches when the blocks join has given it a completely different look to what I thought was coming. A true mystery quilt and as always with your designs Bonnie a real beauty. It will be fascinating to see what all the other different colourways come out like. All this and a house move Bonnie you're a whizz!

  14. Hi Bonnie - the quilt is gorgeous. I'm way behind but it's nice to see what I'll end up with. Any chance we can get a heads up between now and April on color suggestions or strip sizes so I/we can be ready for the next mystery?

Thanks again for all your lovely patterns - I'll send a pic of my star struck soon. Sarah

  18. Hello Bonnie,

I'm Jittina from the Netherlands and I've just discoverd your website and blog.
I'm also a big fan of recycling shirts from the thrift store. And this quilt is awesome! I really would like to make it, but all the steps are missing!
Maybe I can figure it out by looking at the earlier pictures, but I haven't been quilting a very long time (approx 1 year now) and I could really use some explanation.
Is it possible to mail me the steps to make this quilt? It would really make my day!

    Jittina
