Entry # 432!
Becky McGinnis!! You are our winner!
Becky, I’ve sent you an email letting you know you’ve been drawn. Check your spam filter if it doesn’t show up in your email. I’m so excited for you!
I also have to mention that you are the 4th person whose number I had to draw—the three others before you had profiles with no email address or no profile at all…and no email address. I must be able to reach my entrants by email if they are going to win, so the next time you enter a giveaway, leave your email!!
Good Morning, Baltimore, MD!
This was my day yesterday –leaving Columbia, Maryland around 9am hoping to miss most of the rush hour into downtown Baltimore. I still caught the tail end of it, but it was a pretty day for driving and I didn’t mind too much.
I’ve got to get my way past this city and head toward the New Jersey turnpike!
Here I go!
Any time I hit the NJ Turnpike those lyrics from that well loved Simon and Garfunkle song come to mind….”Counting the cars on the New Jersey Turnpike, they've ALL come to look for America…….”
I made it with a couple hours to spare and promptly took a nap that took up those couple of hours!
Meeting for a quick bite to eat with the guild girls!
Oh boy, what a crowd!
I have never met a friendlier guild than the Garden State Quilters of Chatham, NJ!
Today’s Talkin’ Turkey workshop is bound to be a blast ----
Have a great Tuesday, everyone!
Congrats to the WINNER! I grew up with Simon and Garfunkel singing to me while I took my Swimming lessons. Have fun with the Guild "Talking Turkey" today. It's my Guild Night and we are having a Symposium to share tips and tricks and learn new ways to make our quilts better. I have a few 'Bonnie Quilts' to use as examples. Thanks for your inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWhen you post pictures of quilters, they invariably always look familiar to me....and I am sure if I walked into the room, I would be welcomed like an old friend. Quilters are the best....Sally in SC
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I was on the New Jersey turnpike today as well!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Becky for winning the Hexie book. I was lucky to win one of Bonnie's give-aways earlier this year and my prize (another book) arrived safe and sound within a couple of weeks after flying across the great big pond called the Pacific Ocean to Australia.
