Mother's Day Weekend Deals!

Happy Friday, Quiltvillians!

I'm putting this right up top so no once misses it.  It's our annual Mother's Day Weekend Digital Pattern sale!

Starting Today 5/10/24  and good through Sunday 5/12/24:

All digital patterns in the Quiltville Store are 30% off using coupon code Digital30 at checkout.

Code MUST be used for discount to apply.

Where to find the spot to type in your code in the Quiltville Store Shopping Cart:

Click REDEEM YOUR COUPON beneath the total in the Quiltville Store shopping cart. Enter the coupon code in the box that opens up. Click enter.

Must put in the coupon code BEFORE you click to your payment method.

If there are patterns you've been wanting but have been holding back - this is the largest discount opportunity you'll have until November.

And because you've been asking if there is going to be another opportunity for SewPad - yes!

What is a SewPad?

SewPad™ is filled with a thick cushion of proprietary viscoelastic polymer gel– the same stuff used in surgical mats and wheelchair pads.

Unlike foam (memory foam or otherwise) gel doesn’t bottom-out and it provides comfort and support by diffusing and distributing pressure.

Upholstered in a plush layer of AirFlex™ fabric, SewPad™ helps your backside stay cool while the no-slip bottom keeps it from sliding around in your chair.

SewPad™ was designed for quilters and crafters, but we think you’ll find other uses as well.

Church. Stadium seats, in the car and anywhere else that you might expect to be sitting for a good while.

Being comfortable is a wonderful thing!

 Made in the USA!

This thing is thick and heavy!

In fact, I plopped it right down on my postal scale because I was curious – and it weighs in at 4 1/2 lbs of ultimate seating comfort!

The back side is grippy for no slippy!

Right on top of my sewing chair it goes.

Use coupon code HAPPYMOM at checkout on the  SewPad website and receive free priority shipping within the USA. Sale good through MONDAY 5/13/24.

Now that that is out of the way so you won't miss it - here's a bit of what went on yesterday in my world:

The Muddy Creek Misfits are busy creating and finishing quilt tops!

Designer Lisa Alley of BearHug Quiltworks is retreat mom and I love seeing what she is quilting up!

The new top is a calmer re-make of her Rip Tide pattern - and I love how the big pieced blocks become the focal point of a very easy quilt - and a great one to show off some special fabric that is gorgeous on its own.

The new quilt top has a very "beachy" feel = perfect as Lisa loves the North Carolina Coat and spends a lot of time there.

Lisa's website will link you to her Etsy shop - which is on vacation while she is here at retreat but she'll flip the switch back to open on Monday when they are back home.

Be Merry pattern by LIsa underway -

Being sewn by Shelley!

Nancy is putting together this top with Lisa's Elevation pattern.

Four-Patch Posie on the wall!

FInd the tutorial HERE.

Aren't these blocks gorgeous? All from one fabric.

Playing with layouts on the front foyer "design floor."

And yes, after my work was caught up in the studio - I popped over for some sitting and stitching to catch some chat and giggles.

The hexie project is moving slowly as it has been mostly a travel project.

I made some good progress on my Idaho trip - and since my busy bag was still on the table, I grabbed it to go.

Adding the neutrals is a big boring job, but I'm almost to the point when I can start joining what I have with the "path" of hexies that will bring it all together.

More slow stitching to come as I travel to Ireland/Scotland, Kenya and England this year. (There is still room in our Kenya tour! Come along!)

And then 2025 kicks off with Australia in January, followed by Iceland in June, and Morocco/South Africa in September and Uzbekistan in November.

LOADS of hexie stitching time to come -

And maybe more on the porch today if I can get my own work done....

How about you? How is your Friday shaping up? Anything fun going on for Mother's Day weekend?

  1. Lol on the Magazine pages! Cute way to set Snails Trail blocks. It's Balloon time in Walla Walla Valley! I'm glad hubby woke me up so I could see them this morning. Baptized coming up later. Gotta make waffles!

  3. I spent Friday on a mini shop hop visiting 6 quilt/stitchery shops. It was called "Cookie Crumb Trail" and included a cookie and recipe from each shop. It was fun to see the different fabrics carried at each shop and pick up some special fabrics for projects including a quick baby quilt.
