Farewell, Bonniacs!

These fun ladies!

I love this photo over the porch rail - sharing the quilt top they all made as a community project.

It's wonderful!

Each block is as different as these folks are - but together they make a beautiful whole.

It just seemed fitting that this photo is at the top of this post

It's as if they are waving ME off as I head to the airport this morning, and I am waving back at them as they begin their long journeys home to Bloomington, Indiana and beyond.

Oh what a day for hanging out the quilts!

Winter Blues in rainbow colors is at the far left. Followed by a cozy log cabin, Pineapple Blossom from the Free Patterns tab (Made before the retreat, not as a workshop project) And Bowdacious from Adventures With Leaders & Enders.

Scrappy Mountain Majesties, Pineapple Blossom made in workshop, My Blue Heaven and a Scrappy Trips.

It just hit me - ALL of these are from the Free Patterns tab! How cool is that?

Two very different Ditch Lilies side by side. Beautiful!

Great job, everyone!  What a glorious array of quilts.

There were also some last minute finishes that deserve mention:

This Pineapple Blossom finish -

And THIS Pineapple Blossom finish!

And this Pineapple Blossom finish!

And rounds of applause for this "One row short of a Pineapple Blossom finish!"

And a wonky log cabin top finish -

Such productive ladies, I tell you.

Relaxing and stitching on the back porch.

What a gorgeous day!

The dogwood is being slow to bloom -

And it will likely explode into full blossoming after I fly off in the morning. I've given Martha instruction to take photos for me while I'm gone.

As for these lovelies?

Words can't express how much it means to have fabulous women like this to call my friends.

Safe travels ladies, we'll see you next April!

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

Vintage ocean waves quilt shared by Siobhan.

Sometimes we've got to work through our fear until we come out the other side. --

I'm flying to Idaho today to spend a week with family -

Don't worry - I've got hexies with me!

The blog will likely fall by the wayside while I focus on family, but I"m sure I'll get some stuff posted to Instagram and Facebook - so find me there.

I'm returning home on the 8th, and will resume here on the 9th.
