What a fabulous week we've had!
We even had the wonder of some extremely lovely March weather.
I've said through this whole past winter that it was the weirdest winter on record over the past 6 years that we have been in Virginia - it seems we had our "deep winter blast" the week of Christmas, and a bit through January, but with no real snow accumulation - and it has been mid otherwise.
Not all March retreats get this kind of weather break - so we'll take it!
I don't know what the 4 patch zig-zag quilt at the far left is called - and I know that the next one is a Gudrun from GE Designs quilt from a sew-along. But at the far right is Tonni's lovely Ditch Lilies!
They are all great top finishes from this week's retreat!
Can you name these familiar four?
Maymont, April Showers and some very springy scrappy fun!
And though "over the rail" photos were done - the quilting was nowhere near finished! The quilters kept quilting!
Seen here are Sylvia's Chilhowie blocks growing by leaps and bounds!
Barba has a great start going on with her Daybreak blocks from String Frenzy!
Jeani's been working in cute 30s prints!
Tonni has made a huge dent in her Butterfly Kisses blocks!
One last seam! I just need one more seam!
Tada!
Barbara finished her Carolina Chain from the Addicted to Scraps book! These gals filled up every moment of their time at Quiltville Inn with laughter, companionship, conversations (sometimes deep, and sometimes hilarious!) and loads of good food.
It was wonderful to see you again, ladies!
We'll see you back next March!
Laugh so hard your sides hurt - it feels so good!
The cars will soon be rolling out and headed home. Housekeeper Susan comes at noon and we clean it all up again for the anticipated arrival of Gail's Quilt Buddies who will be filling these walls tomorrow afternoon!
Let the laundry fun begin -

It's your life! Refuse to take a backseat!

Have a terrific Tuesday, everyone!
We are heading out this am from the NC Coast Gails Quilt Buddies are excited to be back at Quiltville!!
