November 2020 Quilty Box Gift-Away!

I know that any given month is flying by quickly -

When the next Quilty Box arrives and it is time for another great Gift-Away!

And what a GREAT BOX this one is!

This month we're thrilled to have Natalie Barnes curate the November 2020 box with all of the super things you'll find inside!
What is a Quilty Box?

Here are some highlights to keep in mind:
  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box of fun quilting supplies. We offer plans from $44-48/mo.
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $60
  • We will be using the hashtags #QuiltyBox and #GetQuilty
Have you subscribed to Quilty Box yet?

I could hardly wait to unwrap the Norma Rose fabric bundle byWindham!

Look at these beautiful colors!

I love these saturated colors -

(But come on, guys - only ONE neutral!?)

Oh good - there are more great neutrals available in the line.

I spy 5 of them. Whew!

The big rose prints remind me of 1950s to early 1960s fabrics.  I love them when I find them in vintage quilts - these are really fun!

Along with the Norma Rose bundle you'll find:

Fiskars Table Top Seam Ripper (cool!)

Aurifil thread (Always needed)

Norma Rose post card with a Waldorf Salad recipe on the back!

Bundle of Inspirations Magazine.

The magazine contains Natalie's Skipping Stones pattern!

You'll also learn more about Natalie!

Who would like to win this awesome Quilty Box??

We will draw for our winner on Monday, November 23rd 2020!

Good luck, everyone!

New in the Quiltville Store -

It's not that we're trying to push you kicking and screaming into the holiday season - but it takes TIME to make a table runner or a lap quilt with a Christmas theme!

I still draw the line at no Christmas music in my house until AFTER Thanksgiving.

I had a wonderful time making these string-pieced Christmas trees - so much so that I ended up with enough for both the lap quilt and the table runner!

The PDF pattern is on sale at 25% off through Saturday in the Digital Patterns section of the Quiltville Store.

And you know what I now can't get off my mind?  I want to make a runner with BLUE TREES!  You know - Blue Spruce?  It would be perfect to carry me through the rest of the winter once the red and green stuff is put away.

Oh, the ideas are endless!

SEW MUCH FUN!

There were a few of you who emailed saying that you were having trouble getting your payments to go through on my site.  I want you to know I spent time with tech support last night and nailed down what the problem likely was.  I emailed folks back to let them know it was fixed and to please give it another try - to much success!

So if you were amongst those who were frustrated with the check out - please know that I care about your experience, and we did everything we could into the late hours last night to make sure that things are working tip top this morning.

If you ever have problems - please get me a screen shot so I can pass that on to the shop host folks.  A techy person I am not, just a user of someone else's software.  But I will do what I can to fix whatever the issue may be.

(However, it is up to you to know where to find files on your iPad! LOL!)

Here we are in a brand new day!  And I know just what I want to do:

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

I am pretty much feeling this for my Wednesday ahead.

How about you?

Whatever you get up to - make some time to pet the fabric!

  2. I initially had a problem trying to get my payment processed when ordering the Christmas tree pattern. I was on my tablet and phone and it wouldn't work. Later when I tried it on the desktop computer it went through fine. I just thought that it was a problem with your website being really busy with people ordering the pattern, a good thing I thought. In the end it went through and I have my pattern.

  4. I’m not much of a Christmas quilt person, but I love the idea of the blues, grays, and whites of winter! That would be beautiful! Have a wonderful day sitting among the stash! I’m hoping to just get to sit at the machine sometime today. Have a wonderful day everyone.🌺

Love my new Pine Tree Pattern. Thanks. Also, on the triangle blocks, is it not a good idea to "web" these types of blocks? I just recently tried the webbing and love it, but wondering if there are just some blocks that this can't be done?

  7. I often have the feeling of just sitting among my fabrics and I do! And sometimes I get up and start a new project.

  8. You have the best ideas. I can't wait for the Grassy Creek mystery. It has been our tradition for 55 years to play "We Need a Little Christmas" by The New Christy Minstrels as the first song on the day we decorate for Christmas. It really gets us moving to carry up the boxes of decorations.

  13. The quilt shop that I work at just gave me a sample to make out of the Quilty Box Fabrics. I love them and am looking forward to starting on this. It would be lovely to win some more of the fabric.

  15. Exactly the advice I needed today as I process the death of my only remaining aunt, my daughter's recent surgery and my nephew's hospitalization with pneumonia. I need to bury my head in the sand (fabric) for awhile today and give my brain a rest. I have 7 colors of 1 yard cuts of Moda Grunge to cut up to share with a friend. Today will be the perfect day to soothe my mind with those delightful colors and textures. Your new quilt pattern is mighty tempting, Bonnie, and needs to get into my shopping cart!

  16. Petted a lot of fabric today. Went shop hopping with friends in Lancaster. Love that place. Love the pine tree pattern. I realized I had to sigh in to get the cart to checkout. Such a fun pattern. Another squirrel project. Stay warm today

  20. Bonnie, I want to thank you for the personal attention you gave me when I had difficulties downloading my Pine Tree pattern. Once I got the email that my payment had gone thru and my pattern was ready for download, everything worked perfectly. I think I was so eager to get it that I tried the links on my sales invoice and just didn’t wait long enough. All your hard work is appreciated more than you’ll ever know! .......Pat
