Cyber Monday Sulky Mystery Box Gift-Away!

Good Monday Morning, everyone!

I'm a bit delayed in blog posting today.  I could call it a typical Monday, but it is anything but typical.

Remember the attack deer that hit my van a few weeks back?  This morning is the morning we needed to drive out and drop the van off to be repaired.

We had to be there by 9am, and I was dropped back off at the QPO - carless for the day (Or for the next 2 weeks) and will be picked back up by The Hubster when he finishes HIS work for the day -

So while it's been quiet here on the blog front, there has been much paddling behind-the-scenes, including my lovely #mediafreesunday that happened yesterday!

As it is "Cyber Monday" in the holiday shopping world, I wanted to offer up this GORGEOUS Sulky Mystery Box to one lucky reader!

I was so excited when Sulky asked if I would help promote their Mystery Box - I have used Sulky products for years - my favorite besides the awesome threads?  The Stick n Stitch that we have used for our embroidery designs for our Quiltville travelers. (I can't wait until vaccines have happened so we can travel safely again!)

Just look at all of the goodies in this box!

I did a little unboxing video!

Kicking off Mystery Season with a SewPad Special!
For those wanting to get a jump on arm chair Black Friday shopping -

I wanted to let you know that my friends at SewPad are offering FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING on SewPad orders within the USA using coupon code PEACE at checkout!

I have received emails from several folks raving over how much they loved the SewPads they ordered previously.  Some were waiting for another "free shipping" opportunity to order for husbands and more. Now is your chance!

Mystery Season brings hours, days and weeks of anticipated clues and sewing! It can cause back/hip discomfort.

We all know that quilting is a sedentary sport - and we need to take care of ourselves, so we can keep on quilting longer free from pain.

Earlier in the year we shared info on these medical grade seat cushions that are life changing for me.

This thing is a miracle. It is such a wonderful addition to my sewing studio and will cut down on my Chiropractic visits saving me money in the long run.
  • Gel Comfort Seating for Quilters!
  • 1/2” Thick Medical-Grade Gel Filled
  • Cushions & Supports Your Hips & Back
  • Sit Longer in Much Greater Comfort
  • AirMesh® Cover Keeps You Cooler
  • Feel Better at the End of the Day!
  • 100% Made in the USA

Receive free priority shipping on your SewPad order using coupon code PEACE at checkout.

Code MUST be used to take advantage of FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING.

Sale ends midnight on Monday, November 29, 2020 and is also limited to stock on hand so hurry! (If they sell out, the sale ends, so don't wait!)

Orders must be shipped to a USA address.  International shipping not available, as these weigh in at at 4 1/2 lbs of ultimate seating comfort!

This is the time to be thinking of your holiday gift-giving to quilting family members and friends.

But remember - it's not just for sewing!  Try it in the car for long trips.  When we get back to life and can attend sporting events - think of bringing it for bleacher seating.

Your body will thank you!

What I'll be up to today:

I am rediscovering some 10 year old UFOs!

At least 10 - if not more.

These lovely blocks were pieced on the tail end of my Virginia Bound quilt found in my book Scraps & Shirttails.  I have always loved the Rocky Road to Kansas block - and I wanted to piece it smaller.

And I only got this far. I have a pile of cut side triangles that just need to be used - the plan is to make as many blocks as will use those triangles and finish this in whatever size it comes to.

I may play with alternate layouts.  We will see!

I am also hoping that UPS delivers the big shipment of Simple Folded Corners rulers today so I can get them out and on their way to those who ordered last week.  Fingers are crossed!

How are things looking for your Monday ahead?

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

We are watching temps drop with an increasing chance of snow tomorrow!
The only thing I can say about Winter weather is Bring it on so we can get through it!⁣
I am loving seeing the #grassycreekquilt images you have tagged me in @quiltville_bonnie. I am missing that recents category on IG!
Will you be doing more #quiltvillemystery sewing today?

  7. I plan on traveling next week and look at possibly 10 days of quarantine afterwards - so I bought the pattern for last years mystery. I had saved it last year, but I very much feel you deserve to be paid for all you do. The plan is to cut all out, so that I don't bring fabric that I don't need. My suitcases are going to be very full already and flying internationally - well maybe I will bring fewer clothes.

  9. I am stuck at the kitchen table while my overgrown 6 month old boy kitten sleeps on my lap. He weighs more than 10 pounds! Will work on my Grassy Creek HSTs today. I'm planning on a smaller size. The kittens - there are 2 - have been stealing pincushions off my cutting table so I need to put them away until the kids are older. Right now they like carrying stuff around. Found my earmuffs in the living room. Good thig they’re cute!

  14. Good morning! I’m late to the game on this list but had a question for ya, how many UFO’s do you have? Just curious because you are such a prolific sewer. Also, thank you so much for all your generosity. I am truly missing your quilt cams. Just wanted to let you know you are missed as my sewing buddy. Have a great day.

  15. Boxes play an important role in our packaging life. All the products which we use in our daily life need boxes.
