January ‘20 Quilty Box Gift-Away!

It’s a brand new year, and a brand new adventure for the folks at Quilty Box!

There are a few new faces in the Bundles of Inspiration magazine – The same folks that give you so much inspiration at Paper Pieces, are now the new owners of Quilty Box!

I am so excited about this transition – this means:

1. World class customer service from actual quilters!
2. Extremely fast shipping! (Always a good thing!)
3. Increased value with more quilting notions including templates we know you will love!

Our January Quilt Box is full of so much quilty goodness:

Beautiful Good Vibrations organic quilting cotton designed by Elizabeth Olwen for Cloud9 Fabrics.

Ooooh!

There is nothing but great vibes going in in this bundle.  Enjoy these groovy prints and inspirational projects in the machine piecing projects found in the Bundles of Inspirawtion magazine, which also  includes not just one but TWO additional paper piecing projects from paperpieces.com.

In the photo above you can see just a glimpse of the Good Vibrations quilt pattern by Michelle Engel Bencsko of Cloud9. The pattern showcases the fabrics perfectly!

Artist spotlight -

Elizabeth Olwen is a Canadian print and pattern designer living in Portugal. She prides herself on creating highly considered patterns and illustrations that are lovingly assembled, piece by piece, into something special. Inspired by the world around her—from the beautiful forests of Ontario, to the pastel colors and tiles of Lisbon, to her cherished and plentiful travels abroad, and her own journey of self exploration toward wholeheartedness—Elizabeth’s work is driven by the desire to leave something beautiful behind with every step she takes.

You can find her work around the globe, on products from décor to paper to fabric to bedding for clients like Cloud9 Fabrics, Crate + Kids, Tokyu Hands Japan, Mixbook and many more.

Additional goodies continue!

You’ll find a custom “Plan to Quilt” mini Planner by evabmakery.com
125 pack of 3/4’’ hexagon papers – my favorite size!
3/4’’ hexagon acrylic template – perfect for fussy cutting and trimming your fabrics before paper piecing.
Wonderfil Thread, 50 wt.

And the Bundles of Inspiration Magazine includes so much more info, you are going to want to make ALL the projects, and read every page of information.

What is a Quilty Box?

Here are some highlights to keep in mind:

  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box of fun quilting supplies. We offer plans from $44-48/mo.
  • 5% of the profits of multi-month subscriptions are donated to Quilts for Kids - a non-profit which donates quilts for children in need
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $60
  • We will be using the hashtags #QuiltyBox and #GetQuilty
Subscribe today at Quiltybox.com

I LOVE the fact that 5% of the profits go to Quilts for Kids!  It’s a win win all the way around!

I'm airport bound and boarding a plane for Phoenix after I hit publish on this post. I'll be teaching through Saturday - so I'm going to let this Gift-Away gather entries, drawing for our winner Monday Morning January 27th.

I'll be met at the airport by my Dad who will help with the trunk show luggage, take me to lunch, and then drop me back at the rental car place so I can head on over to 35th Ave Sew & Vac to set up for tomorrow's lecture/show & share event.  Are you coming?  There is still room for you!  Bring your Quiltville quilts - it's not just me sharing, it's YOU TOO!

Contact the shop for more info.

Good luck, everyone!

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

Be silly. Be fun. Be different. Be crazy. Be you - because life is far too short to be anything but extraordinarily happy!

  8. I really like your quilty quote...so true. I always tell myself I'd rather have people like me for who I am than like me for someone I am not. I guess it comes down to being our authentic selves always!
