There is a new issue ON NEWSTANDS NOW! And I’m a dork, because I was supposed to have this post go live on the 8th--- but if you think back to what I was doing on the 8th, you’ll remember that I was fighting the fight with BAD SUSHI and losing!
A few days before leaving for Virginia Beach, I received a parcel in the mail with a Quiltmaker label on it. I tore into it right away, thinking to myself that I wasn’t expecting anything YET from them? We were between issues!
What I found is just what you see here…Gorgeous quilts on the cover of “Quilts from the Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks” MAGAZINE!
The gals over at Quilty Pleasures are having a fun kick off with the release of this issue and you’ll want to run and check it out, and hopefully my oversight hasn’t cost anyone the opportunity to win a free issue. They are ROCKIN’ the blocks over there. 20 lucky readers will be chosen from their blog, from twitter, and from pinterest to win free copies of this issue.
Look! They biggie-sized my Winston Ways block, did it up in cozy flannel for a delightful snuggle quilt! So for those of you not liking my eensy small pieces ---THIS might just be the quilt for you!
Prefer warmer, richer colors? Go with THIS version! I love how changing the value of the fabrics in the checkerboard parts completely changes the look of the blocks. Look at how different these look. You WILL want this issue. There are 18 amazing quilts included!
Here’s the table of contents so you can see a bit of what is in here in all it’s fabulocity!
And I’ve got TWO copies to draw for!
If you’d like to win one of my copies of Quilts from Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks – leave me a comment below. We will draw for the winner on Sunday evening, March 25th. That’s my last day of teaching for the Glendale Quilt Show – and I’ll be wanting to put my feet up after that and will have some time to draw the winners.
Let’s make this extra fun. Share the link to this post wherever you can, and then comment with WHERE You have shared it! Facebook, Twitter, Message boards, forums, email lists, chat rooms, bring it on!
**REMEMBER** If you comment as anonymous or if you do not have your email address visible in your blogger settings, you MUST leave me your name and email address at the bottom of your comment to be eligible for this drawing.
