Wow that isn't very big to be that expensive, but then I have always had charcoal, Im afraid of gas about took my eyebrows off once lighting one.
ReplyDeleteIf that's a Char-Broil, it's just like the one we got last year. I'm still getting used to hot hot it gets compared to our old one.
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell there are Barbies and there are barbees!
ReplyDeleteLOLOL!! This is too funny Ruth Ann, but you are RIGHT ON! :cD
DeleteThat's great if he is the operator of it! More sewing time!
ReplyDeleteHe can make you dinner on his barbee while you sew on yours!
ReplyDeleteNot laughing......yes I am. Ruth Ann!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat! Now you don't have to feel guilty.
ReplyDeleteAwwww come on!!! He must have his toys too! ROFL!!! I really like what "cozy quilter" said...rofl!!!
ReplyDeleteyour sooooooooooooo crackking me up,,,,,,,,
ReplyDeleteI think we have the larger one next to it. We moved into our house at the end of a September, so grills were on clearance. ;) I fell in love with grilling when my husband was deployed. Ever since he came home, I won't let him near the grill.
ReplyDeleteWell, if the man wants to cook, that leaves you more time for quilting!!!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't figured out how to tell my hubby about "Violet" yet!!!
ReplyDeleteWOOT! WOOT! Yep - that means you can bring out those quilts into the house that you were hiding in the car!!! lol!
ReplyDeleteROFLMAO I TOLD YOU!!! too funny. Now HE can cook supper while you sew!
ReplyDeleteI don't know who I am happiest for... You, Marilyn, and Barbie, or Your DH and his new girl "Barbee". Er, I mean GRILL ;);)

Awww...he'll be warm in the quilts and you'll get to eat BBQ! You both win double.~ Glad you BOTH are blessed (especially with each other).
ReplyDeleteLucy~
Isn't it nice to be able to justify your acquisitions?!?
ReplyDeleteFun post and comments!
I have a "Big Green Egg" a ceramic smoker/grill/oven- google it and you will see it. You coulda' bought a whole lotta of Marilyn's, Barbie's, and any other machine for the price of this thing. BUT it will last for dang near ever and cooks with lump charcoal, can go from 0-500 degrees in 2 minutes and is SO DELICIOUS whatever you make on it. BEST investment we ever made.
ReplyDeletePS: I also name all of my machines...
LOL. Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteSo is his named Barb-B-Q? I had to laugh too. I bought my DH a New Camera this year for his Birthday, I broke mine. Maybe I'll have to buy him a BBQ for Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteMary, I use to buy my husband tools I wanted...until I had all the tools I wanted. Now I buy what's on his list, lol.
DeleteAnd when he says it doesn't count because it's for you to use too, tell him he can use your sewing machines. LOL
ReplyDeletePretty and shiny..looks like r2d2, isn't it..ya know that robot?
ReplyDeleteI am glad I read a few more comments as I wondered who Marilyn was and Barbie too. I name my machines as well so quickly caught on. You can tell I am a newbie to this list. But enjoying you all so much and Bonnie you are a hoot. I love it when my DH grills. It makes supper clean up a snap! Just tell DH everything is delicious that he makes!!Marilyn in SC
ReplyDeleteI don't think you needed a justification to buy a machine but this is hilarious! I am right there with everyone else laughing my whatever off!! My DH must be his long lost brother because our bbq is just about as big... :-)
ReplyDeleteI think that's the grill we have. It's hard to fine one that is small enough for a family of 2. It's still big enough to cook several burgers, steaks, chicken parts, etc. We just don't need to cook for an army.
ReplyDeleteMy husband would be right next to yours ... there is something in their genes (jeans??) about going out from the cave, killing something and dragging it back to cook it ... I swear! My beloved likes to performance "transplant surgery" on our grills ... he gets replacement parts as they wear out and keeps patching, patching, patching ... they look odd but cook GREAT!
ReplyDeleteI remember my mother talking with a neighbor who said: The only difference between men and boys... is the price of their toys!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get it way back then... but I certainly do now!
*LOL*
I think you have just justified buying a KENmore sewing machine. Then you'll have Barbie and Ken.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a Char-Broil Quantum (infrared heat) - I bought one two years ago for my hubby - love the results but it smokes a lot and is a bear to clean. The size is perfect for my small patio and I love the fold down tables on each side. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThat's ok. Now HE gets to grill all summer, while you sew.
