There is a new issue ON NEWSTANDS NOW! And I’m a dork, because I was supposed to have this post go live on the 8th--- but if you think back to what I was doing on the 8th, you’ll remember that I was fighting the fight with BAD SUSHI and losing!
A few days before leaving for Virginia Beach, I received a parcel in the mail with a Quiltmaker label on it. I tore into it right away, thinking to myself that I wasn’t expecting anything YET from them? We were between issues!
What I found is just what you see here…Gorgeous quilts on the cover of “Quilts from the Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks” MAGAZINE!
The gals over at Quilty Pleasures are having a fun kick off with the release of this issue and you’ll want to run and check it out, and hopefully my oversight hasn’t cost anyone the opportunity to win a free issue. I think this is a great idea for a magazine - often pick up the 100 block magazine and never make a block - but seeing he block made up - such inspiration!!

Hmmm they all look wonderful! I really like the darker version of your block- its more to my sual taste.However, after really going on your blog and looking at quilts you have made or patterns of old quilts I really want to do some brighter one- with lots of yellow and blues. Bonnie, I don't know how you keep up with everything with your travel and teaching schedule! I love keeping up with you through your blog and remember all the times I got to see you when you lived in SC.
