Maverick Stars!!

I am on my way to the Atlanta Georgia area to teach workshops and give lectures and trunk shows to 3 Atlanta area guilds! As I was writing instructions for a crumb block workshop, I decided to upload these instructions for all! Maverick Stars are made from the meagerest of scraps, but pop with personality! Make yourself some Maverick Stars today!

  4. Bonnie,Bonnie...You come up with such fun blocks that I'll be 102 before I get to even half of your blocks. These are just so cute!! I just have a hard time believing that so many different things can be made from scraps. Your a true genius.
By the way the name that comes up when I respond to your blogs is Skip. That's my hubby, and I just can't figure out how to change the name to mine. Oh well..no big deal.
Have a great time on your upcoming ventures..Fran

  5. Thank you so much for posting the instructions for these! I've seen the star above the quilt mavrics web-ring, and for what ever reason I couldn't quite figure out how they were done, now I know. I am a huge fan of scrap quilts so I KNOW I'll be making some of these :cD Thanks!!

  7. Great stars! I was making something similar last week from my box of two-inch squares. I like the wonkiness of yours. And glad to hear you got my package of houses and lobsters. that fabric has bordered a very scrappy string quilt and I was happy to pass on the leftovers.

  12. I will put this one on the agenda for the future. Just start sewing them as I am working on other things. I have so many of the triangle pieces from bindings, trims from hst, etc.
