24 Hours of Booty!

DH Dave and I recently accepted the challenge of participating in 24 Hours of Booty. 24 Hours of Booty conducts annual 24 hour cycling events, which increase public awareness and support for cancer research and programs, while raising funds to support the LANCE ARMSTRONG FOUNDATION and local cancer organizations.

I am asking you to help by supporting our fund raising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will make a real difference in the cancer community. It is faster and easier than ever to support us as 24 Hours of Booty participants - you can make your donation online by simply clicking on the links below. If you would prefer, you can also send your tax-deductible contribution by using this printable form.

Any amount you can give, great or small, helps in the fight against cancer. We greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on our progress!

For the past 14 years I have provided quilt patterns on the Quiltville.com website free of charge. If you find this site to be beneficial to you as a quilt maker, I ask that you please consider making a pledge to help fight cancer as a way to say "Thanks!" for all you find here.

If you can spare even $10, please think of someone you know who is living with cancer daily and all that they go through. Your donation can help. If you know someone with cancer, PLEASE donate. Your continued support is necessary to help find a cure for this disease.

  1. Thank you, Bonnie.
They found cancer in my bowel 8 months ago. I was blessed it was found early due to a routine colonoscopy. I can't give right NOW (our funds are hurting with follow-up), but I appreciate your fighting against cancer.

  3. Good For You! Our Family too rides in a road race ride called LOTOJA which is a bike ride that is 208 miles in one day.... from Logan, Utah to Jackson Hole Wyoming. $ from this ride also goes to support Cancer studies... etc... at the Huntsman Cancer Center in SLC, Utah. Our family has done this now since 2001! It's amazing to see how many participants there are! Around 1000 riders... plus all the support crews! So, we will continue to work to do what we can to help find a cure! Our family/extended family has all been touched with cancer in one form or another... the count is at 6 people now that have had cancer. One person my SIL had breast cancer twice! Two different types!
    Thanks for all you do!

  7. I will give. I am using one of your patterns (the one we did in Olympia--you may remember all my pink fabrics) for fundraising for my own endurance event. I have done the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk for two years now in Seattle. The Seattle event is a time conflict for me this year, so I will be walking again in Arizona November.

  11. Just an observation, I wonder if anyone has ever sat down and figured out how much Americans with their heart in the right place have given to find a cure. I has to be in the trillions of dollars. What have we gotten from modern medicine for all those dollars? Zero cures in the last 60 years not a very good track record, how do they get away with that.
