Hot Off The Press!!

I knew it was coming, but mine hasn't come in the mail yet from the publisher!

The July/August issue of Quiltmaker Magazine has the beginnings of my next mystery quilt! It's a simple one, called Christmas Lights, and has only 3 parts, given in the next 3 issues of the Magazine, so it is finishing up with the Nov/Dec issue, just in time for the holidays!

This summer is going to be extremely busy for me with traveling, so if you want to do a Mystery with me....this is how we are going to do it, and since the parts are divided per issue, it gives you time to take care of your summer and fall busy-ness with lots of time in between steps to get things done.

The quilt finishes at a lap size....but if you want to make it bigger, just don't start putting things together until the mystery is revealed...you'll then be able to figure out how to make it in the size you want.

My special thanks to Subee who sent the photos!!

  1. I wish I could participate, but I have too many unfinished projects. My goal for the year is to finish all of them. But, here it is June and not one is finished.

  2. Oh, boy, another thing to watch the mailbox for! I absolutely do not need another project, but like we say, "what has need got to do with it!" I love all your inspiration, Bonnie.

  3. It was pouring rain here all day yesterday and I kept a close eye on the mailbox and mail carrier b/c our plastic box has a crack in it and mail will get wet if left in there... so needless to say I quickly ran out to check the box as soon as her mail truck left ;)

and it was in there!!! whoo hoo! I bloged a cover photo on my blog last night too ;) and today read your post on quiltvillechat and sent you an email ;)

I'm looking forward to my 1st Bonnie mystery - I figure I have 2 months to get Part 1 done and that works for me ;)

    Love from Texas!

  4. Right now I am going back to finish my Tobacco Road! Two more finishes and I can start a new project....

  5. Congratulations Bonnie! Another success for you - which is so great. I will look out for that mag here in Australia!!! Again - thanks for all your generosity over the years....I have been a fan for a while now, and still can't get enough!!
