36 blocks make up a 'barn raising' layout. 9 barn raising layouts make the quilt center. I am just two blocks short of the 36 block barn rasings to be able to finish the quilt center. Of course this will be machine quilted because the thing is nearly ALL seams on the back side!

*giggling*...36 blogs???
ReplyDeleteI was already fixing that typo by the time you were commenting on it! you are too speedy..*LOL*
ReplyDeleteBonnie
I'm sorry I tease..it's really a very remarkable set of blocks. A true labor of love, and it really is ok if you call them blogs.. I rather like "blog cabins"..has a ring to it..*VBG*
ReplyDeleteI feel so special..I may be the only maverick to have seen that lovely typo..please feel free to garbage can my teasing..*G*
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous. Glad to see you using some of the itty bitties, and not just throwing everything away :) Making my head spin trying to figure out how many of those teeny log cabins you actually have to still make - maybe it's better not to know.
ReplyDeleteOhmygoodness, Bonnie! Your "Blobcabin" is Bea-u-ti-ful!!! I have a fondness for tiny blocks gone wild...or prolific, perhaps? Good to hear that you're feeling well. You go girl!
ReplyDeleteI have a great aversion to paper piecing--I admire others work, but the idea of thinking upside down adn backwards is beyond me.
ReplyDeleteThese blocks and setting is wonderful.
