Bargello Wins The Bowl!

It's done! And in the quick of time, really! It went so fast! Amazing what you can accomplish with friends sewing along with you. Add pizza delivery, some pink lemonade, and some popcorn!

It's 8:47pm here on the east coast. I'm cleaning up my mess, and packing the car for driving to Winston Salem tomorrow....folding a bunch of laundry (Jason and Kim get the old washer and dryer for the cute house that Kim just bought..)and we'll be out of here in the morning!

I decided just to pack some handwork with me, but the ott light is going with all the stuff I'm bringing...

I've negotiated breakfast and lunch at the house..but dinners will be OUT until we are fully moved in and functional!

I'm taking the camera with me...but I probably won't be able to post again until Thursday or so unless I find a wifi place some where and I think I'll be too busy for that. So ya'll take good care of yourselves and each other, and I'll be back with an update as soon as I can!

  2. Bonnie, you are amazing! I got sidetracked today and only got me strips sewn together.

Have a safe trip. We are supposed to have nice weather this week so it should be good for moving your appliances and such.

  6. It looks great!

Drive safely! FYI, during our move I used the internet at the local library to keep in touch.

  7. Thanks for the Super Bowl Sunday. It was fun watching your progress, and it was the incentive I needed to give the Scrappy Trips pattern a try. Only got 8 blocks finished, but that's okay, I had fun. Good luck with your move.

  12. Your energy absolutely amazes me! I love how you share it with us too. I'm echoing the thought that I don't really like bargellos but with plaids it's a whole new look. I love what you done with it!
It sounds like your relocation is going pretty well. Enjoy that new house and those beautiful trees.

  14. Nice job on the quilt. I haven't joined you on your projects yet since I am committed to finishing my UFOs.

If you get a chance please look at my current UFO that I am finishing up. Do you think those are shirtings? They are cotton and poly/cotton. Would love an opinion on my questions and age if you have any thoughts there.

  20. Oh! I forgot to say this: Best of luck on your move. We moved last year, and I'm still unpacking. But I love my new home, and it was worth the effort! I wish you the same! My thoughts are with you.
