Super Duper Over The Rail!

And it's a wrap!

The August Quiltvillians have made so many beautiful things while on retreat this week!

UFOs became tops, new projects were started, blocks were made, new fabrics were purchased on fun day trips.

There was much late late late night sewing, and some early morning sewing in pajamas, too.

And this is what they have to show for it!

The three yard quilts are perfect for retreat finishes that can actually happen on retreat and the size is perfect for a child or lap quilt.

And the turtle panel quilt?  It became a top, was quilted and bound - all while on retreat!

The purple Blue Ridge Beauty keeps making a retreat comeback - only a few more sections to go and it will be done!  Pattern from my Addicted to Scraps book.

Garden Party also from the Addicted to Scraps book  and a Jacob's Chain!

Two stripey quilts next to each other!  Thanks to your comments yesterday, this is a Missouri Star tutorial and can be found on their website and on YouTube..

Love these smiles!

The quilt on the left is a One Block Wonder - center is Grassy Creek in progress followed by a wonderful Irish Chain version.

Here's the back of the One Block Wonder showing the focal fabric in the center!

(LOVE that quilting texture!)

Jacob's Chain in softer colors and a 16 patch scrappy!

We had to photograph the two Jacob's Chain quilts side by side!

Old Town top finish!

Super cute and bright!

(The fabric bottom left is cat food cans.  LOL!)

Two more beauties!

If you have pattern info on either of these, please leave them in the comments section below!

Two very satisfying quick four-patch quilts ready for quilting and gifting!

And Tula - thinking she could supervise the over-the-porch-rail photo session!

Pumpkin Patches and shirt/tie quilt tops finished!

Fun solids in this one!

(If you know the name, put it in comments please!)

Summer Pops is now a top!

Family tree mini with binding going on -

And a sampler together!

Edges will be squared and borders added when she gets home.

And yes, we DID hold off rain long enough to host a fire pit last night!

If you look toward the house you can see Tula on the walkway.

Zoey, making friends.

Some things just yell SUMMER!

But it it bursts into flame, DO NOT FLING!!

This was a great way to spend Becca's birthday and we are so grateful she chose to spend it with us.

Thank you so much for a wonderful week, everyone!

We'll see you next time!

We've grot another quick turn around.  Most of these lovely ladies will already be on the road by the time I get to the inn this morning.

Jill's TaDa Quilters will be arriving from Erie PA and beyond tomorrow afternoon.

Oh, and remember that eye doc appointment I had to wait 7 months to get?

That appointment is TOMORROW at 12:45.  Hooray.  It's finally happening.

I'll see you on the other side of the laundry -

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

If you see me with a seam ripper, now is not a good time!

What are some of your most colorful phrases that do not include swear words?

Give me your best!

Have a terrific Tuesday, everyone -
