Of course, I think Patty's made with the adorable Quiltville Inn Fabric from Spoonflower is just so perfect! I'll have to get a photo of the featherweight case cover she made also! *Setting a reminder to mykself.*
Buffalo check table topper - pattern source needed!
Thread painting in progress on the sunflowers!
*Also adding a note to get a photo of the back because it's incredible!
Here's a close up of the pebbling and filler on the centers and the petals.
Another adding detail to a panel!
It's bringing this scene to life!
A Christmas fabric collection is coming together in this runner!
I'm so impressed by the container organization!
Also: That red bow print in the lower left. I loved that one back in the day. I still have it in a couple of different color ways.
Holiday fabrics never go out of style!
The ladies have gone out every night to watch the fireflies in the yard. They've been plentiful this year and it is so much fun to see folks enjoying the magic as evening falls.
Here's some cute paper pieced fireflies to capture that memoriy!
Check out the wing fabric....it's perfect!
We haven't been able to do a fire pit yet due to rain, but I'm checking in with the ladies tonight to see if they want to attempt one for their last night. They check out tomorrow. Time is (fire) flying!
These ladies are SO super talented!
Quilts that turn corners on design walls -
Come together like a waterfall!
I do have the pattern for this one..it's one of those cute cards you can pick up at the quilt shop with the quilt recipe on the back.
There is a nativity scene in the making over here.
Starry Night by Sew Kind of Wonderful.
A finish in reproduction fabrics! (Love that chrome yellow!)
It's called Hive from Modern Quilt Studio.
Classic Star blocks!
Ancient Stars from Red Crinoline Quilts.
As for me? I'm still (mostly) resting this ankle. Which means I sat and I sewed some more blocks on my main project, while working Four Patch Fun Leader & Ender blocks in between.
Both stacks of blocks are growing. I need to cut more of the main project blocks out.
It's all good and productive!
I found what works best with this ankle brace thing.
These are my "go to the hot tub and back" sandals - they are that rubber foam stuff.
I found these to be more stable than the flip-flops I was trying to get by with as nothing else will fit over this brace thing shoe-wise.
The adjustable buckle will move over far enough to fit.
Never thought I'd want to be seen wandering around in rubber sandals, but there you have it, and at least it is summer so I can.
Did I mention that I cut off the foot on a pair of tube socks so that I could cushion myself from all of the Velcro and gromets and seams? Works like a charm.
Weed Whacker quilt! Have you made one yet?
The pattern is found under the Free Patterns tab.

Love that manger scene quilt happening..hope your ankle feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm busy sewing blocks together!
Love my 201-2! Downside is I only have 1 bobbin that works with this machine. I have some coming in the mail today. I hope they work.
Have a wonderful day ❤️
Blessings 💞 🙏
Debra, I have been able to find bobbins and other accessories for my Singer 66 and 403-A at Sewing Parts Online. Just thought I'd share a source, Jenny
DeleteThis is where to find the pattern for the bag with the 3 pods. https://insewingtimes.blogspot.com/2020/11/diy-zipper-tote-bag-tray-sewingtimes.html. There's also a YouTube video. Nancy
ReplyDeleteOn the foot wear front, you are now dressing like the current teenagers. Birkenstock type shoes with a sock. They think they are setting new styles, who wants to tell them this look was around in the 80s...on their grandparent's feet! lol I love your saying and I remind myself that I only have this one life and I get to live it the way I want. No repeats and no regrets.
ReplyDeleteVery talented ladies indeed! Love the fireflies. Anyone know the FPP pattern name? My Dad's CB handle was lightening bug. :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad your pretty pink sandles work for your foot while you recover.
Happy Monday, Jenny
I had to laugh. I saw the pictures of the "3 peas in a pod" and thought why did she take a picture of three hams??? More coffee and better glasses! Marilyn Marks
