Thanksgiving, 2024

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Whether you are in the USA and celebrate today, or an American outside of the USA who is longing for home and remembering Thanksgivings past, or anyone else out there going about their day to day lives where this is not a celebrated holiday - I'm grateful for you!

I was thinking about what to write today, and I think I'm going to keep it simple and sweet.

I originally came online to check on tomorrow's Old Town Part Two post to make sure it is ready to go tomorrow morning, and thought I'd just peep in and say hello.

Yesterday in the Studio

I also posted yesterday about my diving back into my red/neutral project. Here's a video refresher:

Click to Play:

There wasn't enough time to really make a dent as today we are heading down to Jeff & Ashlyn's for Thanksgiving and tomorrow I'm flying off to New York -

But time ignored is time wasted and I did dig in!

I pieced all of the half-square triangle pairs I had cut out previously - and while watching (mostly listening) to a documentary on Netflix I pressed, and removed dog ears:

I have my cookie sheet restocked and ready to dig back in when I return from England.

Even though this isn't strictly a holiday quilt, It's making me feel a bit more festive for the season ahead.

Other things I thought about:  The red/neutral combo has my Canadian friends cheering and commenting that it looks like a perfect Canada quilt.  I guess it does!

And then my Polish friends chime in and say - But wait! It's the colors of our flag too!

So how is a girl to decide?

While Bonnie's Away Pattern Sale!

This week I've spent time working on the Quiltville Store spending time with the little help chat box, and learning things.

I learned that I could put a whole category on automatic discount at checkout - without having to ask anyone for the coupon code rigamarole!!  YAY!

I'm not sure where this will lead, but it could make things easier in the long run.  And yes, I can do it for individual products too - to not require a coupon code.

So - from right now until the morning of December 10th when I wake up after my return home, ALL PDF Patterns in the Quiltville Store are 30% off - no coupon code needed!

The price marked IS with the 30% off.  What you see is what you pay.  The regular price is usually $12.00. They are showing at $8.40 right now.

So this isn't just a Black Friday sale, a Small Business Saturday sale, a Cyber Monday sale - It's a Bonnie Goes to England sale.

This is the deepest pattern discount I do all year, so if there is anything you've been wanting to pick up, now is the time to do it.  You won't see patterns at 30% off again until next year.

I can only run one promotion at a time - so if you need rulers, notions, tools - you'll still have to use the code NOTIONS to save 15%. Full instructions on how to do that are in yesterday's post.

And with that - I'm turning this off and diving back into my Thanksgiving Day.

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

Have a marvelous Thanksgiving weekend, everyone!

Of all the many things I'm grateful for, I am beyond grateful to have you along on this journey of life with me.

My world wouldn't be the same without you in it.
