Somehow we fit it all in.
I had both of my sons - and grandson time - and Hubster Dave's 64th birthday - and plenty of workshop time with the Richmond Express gals all through the weekend.
I am exhausted. But SO HAPPY!
Casden and Jeff came up on Saturday afternoon to hang out with Jason and we had a family dinner - cooked on the blackstone and Casden got to spend the night with us, which was so wonderful.
Tablet artwork - mirrored to the TV so we could watch his drawing in progress. (The "Dude!" and "Bruh!" crack me up!)
There was time for tree swinging at the inn!

Dinner in Elkin happened last night and we returned Casden back home. Ashlyn's birthday was Friday, Dave's was Saturday so we have a tradition of dinner out close to both birthdays to celebrate.

ReplyDeleteselfie stick is good for looking at behind self such as the heel skin crack that is painful or looking on top of curtain rod and don't do ladders anymore, or under the quilt on the frame to check if bobbin is working correctly.

I always wished I had a hand mirror on a stick to see those places you mentioned,. Ya know the kind that border patrol uses to look under cars...but no amount of duck tape gets a hand mirror attached to a broom stick at the correct angle.
DeleteI did try that once (trying to look under the quilt frame to check the quality of bobbin thread stitches). This works much better. LOL
