It was our day to hike through the jungle to the Canopy Walkway of swinging bridges connected tree to tree to tree high above the primary
rainforest floor!
The Canopy Walkway is an experience unequaled in the rainforest! At a height of over 35 meters (115 feet) and extending for 500 meters (one-third of a mile), the Canopy Walkway provides a view of the rainforest from the treetops, the best vantage point for observing Amazon wildlife and vegetation. The suspended walkway is spread between 14 of the area's largest rainforest trees and is one of the longest canopy walkways in the world.
Were we excited? YES! This is one of the things many of us have been looking forward to the most. to walk among the tree tops and see what it is like from above.

If you ever make it to Peru – remember the Canopy Walkway. It’s the best jungle experience ever.
And I mean EVER!
Swinging amongst the trees, looking downwards to the ground must take ones breath away, not for the faint of heart.. Glad everyone is having a grandiose time.

ReplyDeleteOh wow! I so enjoy your travels each and every time. But I must admit, this is the first time I'm GLAD NOT to be there! Lol Eating fish and then swinging bridges?! Lol eek! (Family allergy to fish, so I stay away) I went up the cog train in Germany and then down on the sky lift on the Zugspitz .....that was more than enough for me! Lol You are THE woman! Super Woman! :-) enjoy your trip and please be safe! <3
