From Georgia to Michigan!!!

If you are in either of these places, I have some info for you!

I was just contacted by Tiny Stitches quilt shop in Marietta Georgia to do a lecture/trunkshow and book signing in their shop on Sunday, Feb 28th at 2pm!!

We are planning on having a lot of fun, and they have promised treats and goodies, so come on out!

In another unrelated but upcoming guild visit...I'm heading to Grand Rapids Michigan for a round of fun there! I am told there are still some openings in the classes if anyone wants to sign up!

Here is the info from my calendar:
March 22-23:

* West Michigan Quilters, Grand Rapids, MI
o Mon, March 22: Cathedral StarsWorkshop
o Tues, March 23: Star Struck Workshop
o Tues Eve: Lecture/Trunkshow
+ Contact: Dianne VanderMeer

I'd love to see you come on out!

  1. I am already signed up for your Cathedral Stars in Grand Rapids! Can't wait!

  2. Eek! I JUST order Leaders/Enders today, and now you are coming to my LQS! Will make every effort to get over to say hello, and hope you get a chance to mail out my book before heading this way. What Fun!

  3. That looks like fun! Maybe a roadtrip is in order...I'll let the other gals in the guild know too!

  4. Something, that I think would be fun for me, is when you post something like this, I phone my travel agent and book a flight and hotel, and come to see you too!!!
that would be so much fun I think - so I am going to put that on my goal list - spur of the moment trip to see Bonnie at work!!!! And yes, I have a passport too so that will not be an issue crossing to border.... hmmmmmm, this is fun to think about. I love that you let people know where you are- thank-you!!!!

  5. Hi Bonnie,

I just wanted to let you know that I tried to email Diane using the email you list and it bounced back. I went to the WMQG website and they list Betsy Carlson as the contact so I sent her an email. I hope they still have space, and if so I will be able to come and see you. I grew up in GR and my father and sister still live there, so I would have a place to stay!! Fingers crossed!!!

  6. I know you're really going to enjoy the quilters in GR–I used to be a member of this guild and there is so much talent (and genuinely nice quilters) there.

  7. Tiny Stitches was MY local quilt shop when we were in GA....less than a mile from my house. Too bad we won't be visiting my son then or I'd come meet you!

  8. Yay! I'm so excited that you'll be in my neighborhood in March. While I probably can't make it to any of the classes, I do hope to make it to the quild meeting. I've been reading your blog and website for quite some time & love a lot of your designs.
