iPhone-o-Gram! Just Us Chickens!

Ever have one of THOSE days!? Lisa remembered when she pulled into my drive way that the king sized batting was left at her house.

No problem! I have a roll, we will just have to piece some on to make it big enough.

Sophia zigzagged her way to get that job done---only to find that the backing was no quite long enough, so off the roller it came and we sewed the excess from the sides onto the length and we reloaded and commenced quilting!

We decided to quilt with baptist fans and it is perfect for this quilt!

Such a fun quilt! I love the chickens :-)
I have a chicken wire ruler that I've used on my longarm. Tedious but cute for small projects or borders. Put the thought out there though and I bet a digital or even paper panto would show up. It's a great idea!

It's a Buggy Barn pattern from several years ago. I think it's on their website. Way fun to do!

Stuff happens!! I've been known to pin the top to the wrong roller and then stand there all puzzled, wondering what the heck is wrong:(

Fun quilt! About the Baptist fans - is that a one way pattern or can you get to one end and just start up and across in the opposite direction?

I love that quilt!!! Is it an original pattern of your friends or is it one that can be purchased? I would love to make it for a friend of mine who has chickens.
