iPhone-o-Gram!! Blue Ridge Respite!

We've arrived at our cabin on top of the mountain---

This place is heaven!!

It's 8:30 pm and we are firing up the grill for burgers--- and watching darkness fall over the Linville valley below!

  1. Beautiful cabin and views....but there's a very important omission...I don't see a single quilt. What a perfect venue for your quilts Bonnie!

  2. I love this cabin! We just returned from our vacation in Michigan where we rented a cottage and it was very relaxing and yes I did take my sewing machine along. Baldwin, MI has a great little quilt store too! The 'Fabric Peddler Quilt Shop'. My husband fished while I sewed. We had a great week.

    1. Judy, next vac to MI. Key me know, we have a rental at Rose Lake, by LeRoy MI. North of Baldwin. Great fishing lake for your hubby and there are 5 quilt stores within 20 minutes. Friends and go there to sew and relax.

What a great location for a little R&R. The cabin looks great and so does the surrounding area. Enjoy!

  5. So gorgeous! I am a log cabin freak, so I am green with envy right now! Maybe you should make a little log cabin mug rug to commemorate your weekend! Have a lovely time :-)

  10. I so agree that this cabin should have a quilt for at least a bed and maybe a wall. Perhaps you can barter some of the rental fees??
