Quilts Over The Rail!

This is the kind of fun we have putting all of the quilters over the porch rail and waving at cars as they drive on by.

The May Quiltvillians have been pedal to the metal all week long and just look at this beautiful array of quilts!

The quilt on the left is from QOV (Quilts of Valor)

On the right: Texas Tumbleweeds from MORE Adventures With Leaders & Enders!

Side note: Is it because I am getting older, or is it because I have made so many quilts that I could not for the life of me remember what the name of Texas Tumbleweeds was, or what book it came from until I looked it up?

I can't be the only one who doesn't remember quilt names from 2014?

Cuties in blues!

Pattern is Buttons & Bows from Fat Quarter Shop.

These two quilt centers are still under construction with rounds and rounds to go!  The pattern is Cosmos Stars.

Two fun top finishes in the sun -

And yes, that Flame Azalea is blooming!

Great job, ladies!

On the left - De Novo. On the right: Open Window block!

Some where asking about the pattern for the yellow/black version - here it is.

And another Quilt of Valor with a beautiful panel in the center.

And yes, you can sew in your jammies all day, AND have your group photo taken with jammies on!

I love the whole slumber party feel of sewing in jammies, don't you?  Comfort is key!

Everyone packed up and left yesterday morning so it was a day of laundry, of getting things ready for our next group coming in this afternoon, and not much time for any sewing of my own.

Things showing up on the neutral side!

What's not to love about a bit of Dr Seuss whimsy?

And yes, you just KNOW some Y2K neutral is going to show up in there -

Today's big thing: (YES, it is a BIG THING!)

That back entry door we ordered back before Thanksgiving - you know, the one that arrived with a broken door jamb sometime in February - that one?

The replacement is finally being installed today and I can't wait.  We need this door badly, and it should be done and ready for the Quilters of the Night to be the first ones through it this afternoon.

My fingers are crossed that everything goes well!

I am so excited that YOU are so excited about the release of  Crackers & Jam, Did you get your entry in on the Gift-Away on my 5/15/26 post?

If not, head on over and get that entry in!

I'll be drawing for two winners who will each receive a Crackers & Jam PDF pattern from me and a Notable Neutrals fabric roll from  Cotton to Quilts!

  1. Wonderful over the porch rail showing. Love that Open Window block. ..my quilt top is coming along nicely. I need to cut more squares.
Love a scrappy quilt... it's not going to be a king size bed quilt, I really don't need another one. Queen is big enough.
It's going to be another hot day.
    Stay cool.
    Have a Sparkling day
    Blessings 🙏 💞

  5. I'd add a whole day to myself in front of the sewing machine. However, I just tore my rotator cuff so it'll be awhile...
I think you will have Y2K fabric for ever!
