October 2020 Quilty Box Gift-Away!

I think it's high time we had some fun around here!  And the October Quilty Box is a great way to do it!

Our October box is curated by none other than Jackie Kunkel of Canton Village Quiltworks!

If you are a batik lover, this box is for you.

I am in love with the vibrant colors - and that yellow combined with magenta?  BRILLIANT!

This collection is bound to keep you thinking of summer all the way through winter.
What is a Quilty Box?

Here are some highlights to keep in mind:
  • Quilty Box is a monthly subscription box of fun quilting supplies. We offer plans from $44-48/mo.
  • Each month we have 4 or more products (fabric, patterns, thread, or notions)
  • Our retail value of the products in the box is always more than $60
  • We will be using the hashtags #QuiltyBox and #GetQuilty
Have you subscribed to Quilty Box yet?

This month's box includes Jackie's Mandala Magic fabric!

Also included are a new pair of Superedge 8.5'' sewing scissors,

A r 1/2'' square up ruler perfect for Jackie's included Starburst quilt pattern, found in the Bundles of Inspiration magazine.

And a sample of Soak Wash - the best care for your favorite fabric items!

Learn all about Jackie in the Bundles of Inspiration Magazine!

And then dig in to the beautiful Mandala Magic fabrics to make your own version of Jackie's Starburst quilt.

The only thing you need to add is background fabric and thread!

Who would like to win this box?

We will draw for our winner on Thursday, October 29th! Good luck everyone!

Donna's Appalachian Autumn finish!

"Bonnie - Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us. Appalachian Autumn was my first Bonnie Hunter quilt.  The Essential Triangle Tool is a must.  It was so much fun making the half square triangles and seeing how nicely they turned out. String blocks are always fun to make, especially in these colors. This is a great addition to my fall quilts."

I love it Donna!  You did a beautiful job!

The PDF pattern for Appalachian Autumn is available in the Digital Patterns section of the Quiltville Store.

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone!

  12. As usual, Bonnie, perfect quote for the day. I was wondering how to or if I needed to respond to a very contentious message from an extremely close friend and this has been most helpful. I'm hoping for a Uniter and if it is quilting I can live with that. Beautiful pictures yesterday and give Zoey a hug ;)

    1. Recently I had a similar experience With my best friend of many years. I thought about what she said and was very hurt and shocked. I finally just let it go without confronting her—-mainly because it was so unlike her.
