My Header Quilt
I've had people asking to see pics of the whole quilt that my header pic is taken from.
I LOVE this quilt, and no, I don't own it, but I wish I did!
It has terrific chrome yellow sashing and with those green cornerstones and wonderful scraps in the blocks, it is just so FUN to look at
I think this would be a fun way to use up crumbs and small bits! :cD

Kind of like mini Chinese Coin blocks. I'll have to keep this in mind when I get to the end of all the HeartStrings coins sections sent. For now, I'm working with full size versions.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I wondered about it too! Oh and my new AU P&Q came and loved Tazzie's version of your quilt and they have beautiful pictures and a nice mention of you.
ReplyDeleteI think I was one who asked about it! It is so cooool! What a wonderful scrap user!
ReplyDeleteI saw someone years ago paper piece on adding machine paper to make something like this.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful quilt.
It's a wonderful quilt, and great fun to gaze upon. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a newspaper quilt to me - I read somewhere a long time ago that quilters would cut out newspaper columns to foundation piece scraps onto - the columns would be consistently the same size even if you didn't have a ruler! You could probably use adding machine tape too - then no messy newspaper print to deal with. It is pretty!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Evelyn
I love it! !!!
