All Quilted Out!

I waved the Brown Bird Bee off this morning - cars packed with all of the quilting things they brought for a Wednesday to Tuesday fun filled retreat!

And while there has been frost on the grass the past couple of mornings, the afternoons have been lovely and we were able to get everyone on the porch for photo taking - even if sweaters and sweatshirts were required.

It's that bi-polar time of year. Cold in the mornings, lovely in the afternoons.  Dressing in layers, and welcoming hot beverages to warm our hands!

I love variations!

Indigo Way in a medallion setting and Old Town in a splendor of autumn colors!

Some cutie Halloween decor, a lovely red and white quilt, a pineapple runner and a bag!

Just look at this!

A bag, a log cabin, and Jelly Roll top, and another Old Town!

All the stars, and another bag completed!

Another lovely log cabin, and Garden Party from the Addicted to Scraps book!

Here are the two log cabins side-by-side.

They were a challenge from a photo of an antique quilt -Love them so much!

And the results of the bag class.  So cute!

Some of our folks had to check out early, so this photo on the stairs is of ALL the bag ladies.

Sew long, Farewell!

We'll catch you all same time next year!

Of course, this has been worked on in between all of the other things...And yes, I'm still as obsessed with this project as I was when I started and there is much to go.

Will there be a pattern coming? If there is demand for one.  I'm not talking sizes, piece counts, or anything until the quilt is done. I'm not even half-way yet and I thank you for your patience.

Not quiet enough for the next row, but getting closer...

We are off like a firecracker with yesterday's Festival PDF pattern release and Gift-Away!

I am so anxious to see what you do with this one. Whatever colors and fabrics you choose.

Did you get your entry in on the Gift-Away post?

I'll be drawing for 2 winners who will each receive a Festival PDF pattern from me AND a Facets of Yellow color roll from our friends at  Cotton to Quilts!

And do check out their other color rolls! The Notable Neutrals rolls can't be beat for building up your own collection of fun neutrals for scrappy quilt backgrounds.
