It sure makes things interesting to say the least.
What was going on?
I laid out my hexie quilt top so I could see just where I needed to start adding the next hexie row to the mothership.
I got this far. One more evening of stitching should do it. Then on to the next 3 large motifs!
"Zoey, can you move please?"

Yesterday I went to physical therapy for some dry needling (Like acupuncture but involves electric stim into the needles...it's not as bad as it sounds) and I was doing really well with much less pain until last night. I reached for my phone from where I was sitting on the couch and everything tightened up again.
I'm so over this...I don't know what it's going to take to make the neck/upper back radiating down into my arm pain go away.
I'll be taking it easy this weekend. There is a porch and a group of quilters to visit with. I'm taking the low road.
String piecing underway!
And something cute with hearts and connector blocks. Sweet!
By 11am all of the quilters had exited the inn and were quilt shop hopping in Galax! It's our Virginia Quilt Shop Hop month and there is no stopping quilters who are bound to go participate in the fun.
By mid afternoon all were back with purchases and smiles on their faces.
Later in the afternoon the top was together!
Sweet sampler blocks from Pat Sloan.
It's in a book - not sure which one. Will get info later -
Any guesses what is going on here?
It's a color wash of scrappiness!
More fun blocks in batiks -
And a sweet flag for the eason!
This is a Lori Holt pattern booklet.
Quilt tops are coming together already!
Love the red/neutrals
Here's the pattern -
What a difference a change in colors makes!
This lovely finish is from a kit.
Sweet butterflies!
Also like butterflies!
This quilt was made with neutrals from a group swap.
More Hearts of Hope from my Solidarity PDF patter booklet are happening here for a granddaughter who asked for one of her own. These are her school colors!
It's going to require a lot more hearts - it's got to fit her bed!
I've always like quilts in primary colors. Red, Yellow. Blue.
Today? Much like yesterday. The quilters will be quilting and I am planning on porch enjoyment time and just taking it easy this weekend.
