Summit Street Gift-Away!!

Happy Weekend, folks!

And happy NOVEMBER- can you believe it? Where did the time go?

I know that quilters everywhere are feeling the crunch of November as the holidays (and our Quiltville Winter Mystery Lupine & Laughter ) draw closer!

And to celebrate our quilty holiday crunch that is upon us - have I got a fun gift-away for you!

From my friend Jordan at Summit St Shop!

These cute little boxes  are great for so many things.

I'd rather be quilting! Wouldn't you?

Summit St Boxes are a cute and clever way to store and organize all sorts of items. They hold 6-1/2in quilt squares perfectly!

I've been using them to store my kitted up block parts - Here I've placed the X-Plus block parts in the newest "Id Rather Be Quilting" box!

They are also great for holding quilting, sewing, knitting, and scrapbooking supplies. Snacks, make up, toiletries, jewelry, and trinkets too.

Put some goodies inside and give as a gift! Pack up and take to a retreat! Boxes feature nice smooth edges and a super cute design on the lid.

  • Made of: Plastic
  • Use: Storage and Organization
  • Size: 7in x 7in x 1-1/2in Tall

  • Summit St Shop is in Webberville, Michigan!  Are you within driving distance?

They spent a year and a half renovating a historic church building into a storefront open to the public..

Summit St Shop carries quilting fabric, of course - but also decor, gifts and more!

And yes, you can order online. Summit St Boxes are currently on sale as well, and there is free shipping on orders over $75.00 within the USA.

I spent yesterday cutting out block kits like a crazy fool, and since these blocks are positive/negative I've separated them into two boxes so I don't get things all discombobulated.

And yes, you do see a sparkly pink shoe and a darling sasquatch or two! These fun fabrics were given to me as a challenge from Jean who is retreating with the November Quiltvillians next door - Challenge accepted, fussy cut and sewn in to prove it!

"You really will sew with anything, won't you?" Pretty much - but I digress!

The folks at Summit St are offering up TWO of the newest I'd Rather Be Sewing boxes in our Gift-Away, AND their newest of fun things for sewists:

    A My Stitchy Plushy!

Okay, this is the cutest thing.

You'll find these items as well as all of the Summit St box designs on their website HERE.

And about that Gift-Away - We'll have THREE winners!  Two winners will win an "Id Rather Be Quilting" box, and our third winner will receive a My Stitchy plushy!

I'm leaving for Portland and across the river to Vancouver Washington tomorrow morning.  I'll post while I'm away, and how about we draw for our winners next Saturday 11/8/25.

Halloween Fun was in the house all day!

    From brunch time -

To afternoon snackies around the fire in the Hen Den -

And guys - do you see this - the truck headed up the road?

    It's begun!

It's November.  Tree harvest is in full swing as temperatures continually drop - this morning we were in the chilly 30s just above freezing.

Son Jeff will be arriving this afternoon so he'll be on hand to take care of the dogs and cats and retreaters and amil order until Hubster Dave gets home on Tuesday.

If there are any other delays with orders that he can't manage, I'll be home on the 18th and we'll pick up where we left off from there.  I appreciate your patience so much.

I can't wait to hug the rest of my family when I get to Portland.

Quiltville Quote of the Day -

t's been an absolutely glorious fall.

    Have a marvelous weekend, everybody!
