iPhone-O-Gram! Live from the Magnolia Fire Hall!

Thirty women have gathered to sew up bricks and squares in Oklahoma Backroads blocks!

A potluck lunch has been planned! The machines are humming---the laughter is ringing!

We've been joined by quilters from NY, DE, MD, WV!!

  2. I see they've set up around circle tables. It reminds me that quilters used to have SEWING CIRCLES! Looks so fun! If you ever come to Washington State, I'd love to take a class with you. I have it on my bucket list...

  3. After just coming home from a quilt retreat with the ladies of Gee's Bend I have decided that these quilting classes and retreats to sew fills the modern need to be together, to support each other, pass on tips and have fun.
The internet is great but there is nothing like connecting with real woman in a quilting bee like setting. Bonnie travels wide and far to teach us but also bring us closer together. If you get the chance to go to a retreat or a class with Bonnie jump on it!!

    Happy Sewing

Holy Moly, Batman, what a great big room.....you could fit another 30 women in there!! Have a great time, Bonnie, and as Kim above so aptly put it, there is nothing like women of like minds getting together sewing, sharing and developing quilty relationships.

  6. I have almost never been in a class that wasn't full of laughter and fun. It really is special being with other quilters and sharing and just having fun.
