Bon Voyage!

I'm heading out today. I am SO excited, that I am sure that is why I am up again at 3am. I've been piecing 5" pineapples since, and preparing to leave in a few hours for Charlotte to catch my plane.

Yesterday I hit Kohls for some last minute shopping, and some little necklaces caught my eye. Sterling silver, marked down from $50 to some ridiculous low price of $14.00.

I bought one, just to remind myself....it's a little round twisted ring with words on it that say "LOVE LIFE, BE BRAVE" :cD It's my talisman for this trip.

The little verse that came inside the box reads:
It's not who you are that holds you back
It's who think you're not.

This seems to be the week that I find little hidden messages for living in strange places. First the bookmark that fell to the floor earlier this week, and now this little gem.

Repeat these words three times daily, until you start to believe them yourself. It just might change everything!

Hope you have a wonderful time and a safe trip.

  2. Bonnie have a wonderful time, when you fly over Nova Scotia give a wave. We are on the flight path for overseas.

  3. Thanks for the quote and Bon Voyage.

  4. I'm at a crossroads in my life where I've become more employee and less mom/wife. I am taking steps to change that and was very encouraged by this post.

Thanks for sharing and have a blast on your trip!

  5. Safe travels! and have FUN!

  6. Best wishes for your trip

  7. Hi Bonnie! I've been a fan of yours for years and have just completed my first project that was inspired by one of your quilts and your leaders and enders process. If you're interested, check out the pics on my blog at crazyaboutquilts.blogspot.com.

Thanks so much for all you do! You are such an inspiration to so many quilters!

  8. Hi...
I just recently found your blog and find it a great read! I too prefer scrap quilts so I am busily reading all your past postings!
A comment I'd like to pass on after reading about your poor kitty with elimination problems. I have had cats adopt us because of where we live (in the county and it's a place for people to drop off their unwanted cats). Fortunately we have a 'Cats Anonymous Society' that will assist with fees for neutering/spaying. I have found a clay based scooping litter put out by Dr. Ellis called 'Cat Attract' , found in all pet stores. That has saved us! Cats will be using it immediately! After a few weeks I used it 50/50 with a less expensive litter and it still worked great! Just a note.

  9. Oh dear, hope you are enjoying yourself, but, but, but...I can't hold it in any longer. I must tell you that I'm having Bonnie Hunter blog withdrawals. It's been 12 days and I do need a fix.

:) Come back soon...well, okay, when you're done having fun.

    Miss you!
