Just for Chuckles..
This came in my email today!! I thought it was too funny not to share....
Weekend has been good so far. I'm back to working on my pineapple blocks. I know it's not much of an update, it's the same pictures as last time.
But it feels good to have the TV on and me piecing away, not making much of a dent in the small scraps even if each pineapple block takes 45 pieces fer cryin out loud!!
I've got a party to go to in just a bit. My personal trainer has turned 50! It's an all girls party, all of her clients are getting together to throw her this bash. I'm taking a broccoli salad and a beverage....there will be BBQ and pool games, no boys allowed! (and that is why this pic goes so well with this post!)
Have a great weekend!

That book is just to funny, could I borrow it LOL .Just kidding .
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh, it came at a perfect time.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time at the party.
A number of years ago I was given a similar book at a farm show. The sales rep gave it to me and I started laughing. My husband said I don't get it, so I laughed harder. Another couple came up (whom I did not know) and she asked what I was laughing at so the sales rep gave her one and she started laughing. Her husband said I don't get it. So the other woman and I laughed even harder. So then both of our husbands started saying I don't get it and we laughed even more. As we left the booth, both husbands were still saying I don't get it, and I remember replying that they never would.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad used to have a similar book when I was a kid. It was a boxed book and when you took the book out of it's box a springy worm jumped out. I think it was titled 'Everything I know about women'. I loved that book!! Good memories.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is cute! I had to call my husband over to look at it, and he laughed, too. ;-) We frequently have conversations about this! Thanks for sharing. Dianne B. in England
ReplyDeleteLove the humor for the afternoon. Hope you're having an exciting time at the birthday party.
ReplyDeleteAin't that the truth! Every woman needs a copy of that book just to remind her.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading about your trip to Shipshewana. I live in lower MI & go to Shipshy regularly, love it. There's so much to see that it never gets boring. Especially at the Lolly's stores!

ReplyDeleteI really laughed out loud when I saw your picture. Love it! :o)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great time on the party, and that you are having a wonderful Sunday:o)

ReplyDeleteIt took me a few moments to realise !!! But then I thought it was really lifelike. And reading Pat's comment made me really laugh !
ReplyDeleteI'm going to send the link to my husband, to see what his reaction will be.
