I need to make a list. A list of UFOs or at least a shortened list of UFOs where I can stare at it and mark my progress.
Some of you have made lists with the "strike-through" text in your sidebars. I must be totally blonde because I can't figure out how to do that. I can do strike-through in my html editor for my website, but....how do I do it here in blogger?

The HTML command is < strike> text < /strike> (with no spaces of course)
ReplyDeleteI did almost my entire sidebar using the "HTML" button on Blogger. I did this because I'd already written the HTML for old blogger and I just copied it over. I use the command that Kim shares above to draw the line through items on the list. No idea how you'd do it if you use something other than the HTML button.

ReplyDeleteWell, that answers my question on that! I wonder how Judy does the %done bars now.... hmmmmm
ReplyDeleteYou can also use the command (s)but in <> not () text<(slash)s> in the HTML editor and it does the strikeout as well. (for those of us who are lazy typists).
ReplyDeleteThe actual command is not <(slash) s> for the closing -- it's the usual closing (/s but in brackets) but for some reason the blogger comments don't want to publish it if it's actually coded correctly)
thanks for the queston - and the answer. I've been wondering that myself for a while!
ReplyDeleteWell, I had no idea how people were doing that slash thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I still understand it!! LOL I must be blonder than Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteOthers are correct...You don't have to write out the word strike...just put the s and then /s encased in the caveat symbol.
ReplyDeleteI do mine as another list and then type in the wording just like you did for the names under your pics...or anything. You could cross off you lists of blogs.
Oh and just in case anyone reads here the progress bars I use are easy to find by looking at the bottom of my sidebar to the link that says Progress Bars by Mel! Click and off you go to get them! Dawn did a great job installing her's!
