Show and Share in Windham, Maine!

This is me..in the red shirt, front and center taking photos!

Thanks to Cynthia and Mary, who sent me THEIR  photos from where they were standing, we have the missing photos back from our Tumalo Trail day in Windham, Maine!

Of course, you’ll be seeing the backs of heads in some of them…makes you feel like you were part of the audience, doesn’t it??

The show & share makes the workshops and lectures that much more fun.

I love learning about you, the story behind your quilt and everything else…so if I am coming to your group, please bring a show & share!  You don’t need a formal request from your guild or group, there won’t be an announcement about it, but bring something!

We had such a great smattering of everything!

And we had quilts that don’t show up that often: Criss Cross Apple Sauce from Scraps & Shirttails II in shades of grey and red.  Isn’t this great?

Susan’s Fun with Bricks from the Free Patterns Tab!

I had a lot of fun with Susan myself on this trip.  It was she who loaned me the lovey featherweight I sewed on during any spare moment.  We have a lot in common ((Besides both of us being tall girls!))  We both admit that we just can’t make small quilts!  No matter what we plan, they come out queen size.  LOL!

Yeah, there is my head again…but isn't this Easy Street going to be wonderful??
You will find the pattern for Easy Street in my book MORE Adventures with Leaders & Enders.

There are more, many more!  I have Cynthia’s, Mary’s and mine from two days of workshops and the lecture on Monday evening.  So pour yourself a cuppa and sit down and enjoy.  Use the pause button on the screen to stop the motion if there is something you want to study a bit more.

If you are unable to view the slideshow on your mobile device, click the image below.  You’ll be taken to the photo album for viewing.

Show & Share, Windham, ME 2015

It’s a glorious spring day in Wallburg, NC!  Over the past week the grass has greened up, and all I want to do is go be outside!

There will be time for that this weekend.  Today I get the rest of the book orders out that came in while I was gone, and I CLEAN THE STUDIO.

We have plans, Mona and I!

Monday morning I will leave the cabin for home and she will follow me.  We are having a couple of sew days here at my house instead of the cabin so we can get at least ONE of her quilt tops quilted in the longarm.  She is getting lessons from me.  Something simple, edge to edge.  And then she can get her first binding lessons as well.

Wednesday morning I leave for Maryland and New Jersey on a driving trip and I am really looking forward to seeing spring happen all along the east coast.

Time to get a move on!

I think Mona is a very lucky lady! Does she realize how many of us would love to have you as our private teacher? It sounds like a fun time.

  12. Ditto to all the other comments. Thanks to the ladies that also took pictures and sharing. I fell in love with the brown and beige one at the very end of the slide show. Is this one of your patterns? If not do you know what the pattern is and where to buy it? Thanks
