Everything today went – of course as expected!
Before I knew it I was put to sleep, and then rudely awakened before I was willing to wake up – fully ensconced in a dream about vintage sewing machines. :-)
Quite drowsy with the after affects, we ate a little bit of lunch – and I crawled into bed to sleep for another four hours.
Somewhere in the midst of that dream I heard the doorbell ring.
Thinking it was somewhere in my deep sleep – I did not pull myself out of bed to answer the door, mentally willing it to go away!
When I finally returned to the land of the living – I mentioned the imaginary doorbell to DH only to find that it was real!
Thank you thank you thank you to Stacey in Raleigh for sending me the coconut pineapple sparkling ice that I am unable to find in my own area. :-)
On one hand I can't wait to open these!
On the other hand – I am afraid to open these-- carbonated beverages under pressure sent via priority mail! :-)
I'm about to get very brave though – my mouth is watering for this piƱa colada like confection –
As I've been hearing all day – bottoms up! :-)

ReplyDeleteQuiltvillians reads to me as Quilt villains which seems not so nice.
I'm certain it is meant in the way of community. I am just having challenges leaving a response using my iPad.
DeleteThis is a great moment, obligation is done and everything is ok. Now, let's play again!

ReplyDeleteQuiltvillians! I thought we were Bonnie Hunter stalkers! :)I really was not responsible for over 24 hrs.
ReplyDeleteI heard we were called Bonnieacs! :)
DeleteBonnie now you just take an empty bottle to your local shop and ask them to order your new favorite brand.
ReplyDeleteGlad you came through the procedure okay. I did a search on Sparkling Ice and they are produced in Washington state and you can order cases of 12 from Amazon. A few cases at a time will get you free shipping, too!
ReplyDeleteGlad everything went well today. Now you don't have to worry. Rest is the best advice for the rest of the day. You should be feeling tip-top tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteSomeone beat me to sending you some! Take care and enjoy!!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear all went well. I met a girl today at our sewing circle that has bought 8 vintage sewing machines in the last 2 months. She is really addicted to vintage machines, has an Atlas, baby blue Morse, green singer, and many more. Good thing is I found out where to take my one vintage machine in for repairs here in Melbourne, FL. Take care and enjoy the Pina Colada juice, looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear it all went well. I need to do that as well. Looks like someone thought you needed a cold one. Have a good night's rest. The snow is hear in Iowa and we are expecting 9-12 inches. Looks like a white Christmas for us. Love it for quilting, but hate it for all the people that have to work out in it. KK
ReplyDeleteRest up Bonnie. So glad it sounds as if it was not bad at all for you. How nice of Stacey! Hydrate yourelf and redt up.
ReplyDeleteTry aamazon..they even have free shipping sometimes
ReplyDeleteHey Bonnie! Hope you enjoyed your nap! Harris Teeter @ Thruway carries that drink. It is across from the wines, top shelf! Enjoy! Sweet dreams tonight! B
ReplyDeleteThose look really good! I'm glad to hear things are going well. :)
ReplyDeleteThose are my husbands favorite drinks, we have at least 8 different flavors around here, and at $1.00 a bottle the price isn't too bad either.
ReplyDeleteYum I love the ice drinks, i've never heard of Coconut Pineapple. I'll have to look for that one. My favorite so far is the orange mango. I'm impressed you even dream in vintage sewing machine!!!
ReplyDeleteThat Sparkling Ice would go real nice with a big ol' cheeseburger! I'll bet you were hungry - I always am after surgery/sedation (I have an iron stomach). Best regards to you!!
