We are sitting around chatting and enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery!
We stopped along the south fork of the Payette River.
The guys have white water rafting and later in the week---but I think as close as I'll get is to pull over to take pics!
I haven't seen my mom yet because she is now off to the airport to pick up my aunt and cousin who are flying in from Minnesota.
Other brothers and sisters and their families will start arriving tomorrow.
I live being up here---relaxation is happening in full force!
These pics are of Jason, me, Andy brother Rick.
PS---I bought the pink shirt!

The blue sky is gorgeous! Rest up and enjoy your time off.
ReplyDeleteWe used to live up that way. Whenever we go back for a visit it feels like going home, even though neither of us were born in Idaho. We used to swim in Payette Lake every summer. :D Have fun and enjoy your family!
ReplyDeleteI live just a few hours from there, here in Eastern Oregon. Been fishing in that area for years!! Enjoy the pacific northwest, Bonnie - welcome to my neck of the woods! Here's a thought since you are in the woods - A beautiful scrappy Log Cabin quilt would fit the scenario don't ya think?
ReplyDeleteI love, love Idaho! used to live there years ago and go back now and then just because we love it there.
ReplyDeleteKaren
Enjoy your family time, girl. I knew it would be pink! : )
ReplyDeleteNo surprise on the shirt ... you're an "in the pink" kinda girl! Enjoy your family time ... it's the BEST!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you had connections in Idaho. Welcome from us Idaho quilters who love you!

have a wonderful break; you work hard now play hard!
ReplyDeletePink was a good decision, I never wear blue with denim! Oh how I miss living in central OR at this time of year..........this darn day job just gets in the way of quilty events! Have a great time and enjoy being 'off'.
ReplyDeleteIdaho is beautiful, I love the northwest! I'm from Kalispell, MT & my husband is from Butte, MT, we moved in 1980 & now we live in KY. I sure do miss the summers! Have a wonderful relaxing enjoyable time!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, the water looks high. Tell the guys to be careful floating the river!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time and enjoy the family time !
ReplyDeleteWhere's Andy? .....have a great time!!!
ReplyDeletePink shirt is perfect - love watching your travels, Bonnie. Pink scrappy quilt is on my bucket list... maybe I'll adapt one of the "new book" ones to a pink palette.
ReplyDeleteI have family in the Nampa/Boise area. My most fun summers were spent in the Treasure Valley with my 32 Cousins on the farm at Star, Idaho. You are just 5-6 hours away from me right now... Enjoy the family time!
ReplyDeleteI thought you were leaning towards the pink one! You couldn't get talked into white water rafting? Have fun! Sandi
ReplyDeleteThe pictures bring back so many memories! We sued to came just that close to South Fork of Boise River up in the Sawtooth/Trinity mountains -- awesome experience and so good for one's soul and spirit!

Oops! Shoulda re-read it -- "... USED to CAMP ...", not " ... sued to came..."
ReplyDeleteI miss an "Edit" button ....
Karen
How many brothers and sisters do you have? Seems like they keep coming from everywhere! Enjoy your reunion. We have one coming up at Labor Day but it's in Kansas City! Steel and concrete for me....
