HI Bonnie,
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful quilts these women had to share in the slideshow. I love the rich fabrics and the vivid colors. Some of the designs are traditional and some of them are innovative but all of them are beautiful. Thanks for recording the experience and sharing them.
Regards,
Anna
Thank you for sharing your day with us. It must have been a blast to play with them all day. They are doing some fabulous quilts and they look like a fun group.
ReplyDeletewhat a treat for them and you.
Bonnie, looks like you were nurished a bit! And I'm not just talking food here! The colors in the quilts were wonderful... I especially liked the quilted clothing. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy My - what a splendid Quilt Show! THey are different than our 'regular' quilts - and I noticed the 'arty' appearance of many of the makers - my gosh - what a talented, artistic group of women. I'm not sure which were my favorite, but the 'art quilts' are stunning, as well as one of the last soft plaid string quilts.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this pleasure!
