We were graced by the most beautiful autumn weather this past weekend.
A bit crisp in the mornings, warming up with sunshine in the afternoon - afternoon porch time still wonderful -
I even ended up with quilt retreat fairies changing the clocks back an hour for me on Sunday morning!
There are several clocks - and even the microwave clock was attended to.
We also were luck to have ZERO wind for over the porch rail photo op time.
Some projects big and bound, some small and just beginning with so many possibilities!
Jacob's Chain growing block by block in holiday colors -
And a sweet Hunter's Star in a soft palette.
It's hard not to feel a bit of holiday festivity creeping in - we watched truck after truck of Christmas Trees start to be harvested, bundled and hauled off!
Everyone loves watching the trucks go by.
Two Morning Glories side by side - Can you see the the fold they've matched the cetner design? LOL!
Here they are full out in all of their Morning Gloriousness!
Hamilton Gardens, ready for trimming and quilting -and I love the quilt on the right with the big florals - anyone know the pattern info? Please leave it in the comments below. It's a great way to feature a large print.
Mountains of wool applique, and so many triangles! And I always love seeing a Lupine & Laughter fine finish!
Another Lupine & Laughter and check out the quilting on the quilt on the right - wowsers!
We also needed these two side by side!
Dot brought a whole trunk show of her own - she is prolific!
I believe this one is a GE Designs.
Cute! If you know any of these please leave them in the comments below.
Baseballs paper pieced for a grandson who is going to love it!
Borders are on and it's ready for quilting!
Texas Tumble weed from MORE Adventures With Leaders & Enders, a darling cow quilt, and that's Wild & Goosey which is found in not only the Addicted to Scraps book but also the new Scrap-Savvybook!
It was a marvelous week, ladies! Thank you so much!
We'll see you back next year!
We had a gorgeous sunset ahead of us as we drove to Bristol for my stay at the airport hotel. We brought along our friend John so Dave would have someone to talk to on the long drive back up into the mountains.
We stopped at Texas Roadhouse for dinner - I ordered up my favorite steakhouse salad - So good. And always too big to finish.
I was in bed early, needing to catch up on my sleep, not only from the time change on Saturday night, but I had to catch the airport shuttle at 4:30am yesterday morning.
Somewhere between Tennessee and Georgia as daylight was arriving -
There was no time to waste in Atlanta - I went from one terminal to the other and as I arrived at my gate they were already loading zone 5. I'll linger longer, next time Atlanta!
4 hours later landing in Phoenix!
My time with my da is really special to me. He'll be 87 in February. He feels himself slowing down and not as able to do the things he used to do. We'll have a quiet week. I can take walks while he naps.
I have plans to visit my sister in law - maybe getting a hike with her, and a family dinner on Sunday. But other than that it will be watching tv with dad and just being here.
And there is this.
A great cup of java and hexies to last me until eternity.
I'm right where I need to be.
Star of Maghrib info:

If you have been with us in the past and have a Tri-Recs ruler or a Peaky & Spike ruler or anything of the like they will work. If you use these, pay attention to the unit size given and use the instructions that came with your own ruler for cutting.
I just wanted to let you know that I have added more inventory to the Quiltville Store.
Okay - I think that's it for now. Time to whip up some breakfast -
Quiltville Quote of the Day -
Let's hope there will be a nap.
Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone -
