We arrived to sew in a brisk 24° this morning – but the sun is shining, temps are rising – and we're having a mess of fun sewing in the scraps!
47 women, all with machines humming, sharing scraps, laughter, and stories of how the scraps came to be in their stashes.
Lunch is a potluck! And you can sure bet that nobody is going hungry! :-)
After lunch we will enjoy a show and tell that folks have brought – and our class will be soon resuming, continuing on until 4 PM.
It's a great day to be in Kentucky! :-)
I would love to be in one of your classes. Everyone always seems to enjoy themselves.

ReplyDeleteI have sewn all my life on things from small embroidery to upholstering furniture, but I've NEVER done anything like I learned in your class at London. I so enjoyed spending the day with you and the rest of the gals. Yup, I'm hooked..:)....Thanks so much for a wonderful day!!!
