Pineapple blossoms of many colors were started yesterday in our first workshop of the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show in Bloomington, Indiana --Which student came the farthest in our class? This sweet gal Lynn lives north of Toronto, Canada and drove all the way down to come to class! She was visiting her nephew last year during show time and noticed the signs and came on in. From there she was bound and determined to come back this year as well. That’s one cool Auntie!
Her blocks were coming together in pastel florals on crisp white….yes, the Canadians are ready for spring to arrive too!

On another note....did you know that today is International Women's Day?!
Today is also a Jamestown Landing day! We’ll be busy celebrating International Women's Day with neutral string blocks and star blocks and a whole lotta fun!
